Or Ashleen/Aislene whatever.

I thought I'd start a new thread for my lovely new housemate.

I have to say though, she looks just like your stereotypical, generic, Essex girl model. Cracking figure but a bit of a wonky face.

Anyway, looks like Imogen and Grace already hate her - clearly they feel threatened. Let's hope Aisl...Ashl...Asyl...this new housemate causes a stir.

Crit - any chance of a wee icon for my sig?

She riles me already. Why do 'glamour models' (oooops sorry, she is a promotions girl - probably holding a sign in the high street saying 'Golf sale this way' with an arrow on it) think they all have to have bleach blonde hair, wear fake fur and draw on their eyebrows. Also - why all the makeup ? I think most women benefit from makeup - but someone of her age shouldnt have to slap it on with an industrial sized paintbrush.

I quite liked her so far (mainly cos she's upset the apple cart) but also cos I think she was quite frank with Sezer in the garden and made him say that he'd been bullying people and wasn't afraid to say it again just so that he knows she's got his card marked.

yep, loving the stir this lady has caused!

But why are Grace and Imogen so jealous ? They are natural girls, whereas Aisleyne is a comic book blonde.

I know if i were in there i wouldnt feel jealousy when i looked in her direction. To me Grace and Imogen are much better looking .... and they are natural.

I think she's brilliant!
She prances around with no cothes on and it really winds up Grace and Imogen, her immitations of Nickie were classic and no one really knows how to take her. She comes across as a bit bimbo dimbo but she actually seems to know exactly what she's doing. If it's her game plan then :applause: keep doing it.
Only thing not enjoying is her antics with Glyne- don't get them

I'm liking her too, Bob. So long as she doesn't get too confident. But if her aim is to wind Grace up, it's working a treat.

And that bikini last night really was tacky beyond belief. Did she think it was sexy ???

I like the fact she winds the others up ... but im with Grace when she said she thinks she is 'it' and she really isnt.

You know, when I typed "she looks.." I wasn't sure what to put next. I meant that she looks quite glamorous (ok in a tarty looking way) but I was tired and not thinking clearly so I plucked the word "stunning" out of the air for speed of typing and I just knew that out of everything I said, that would be the thing that everyone picked up on :D

I must pick my words more carefully in future.

I agree, therefore, that "stunning" is not the word but she scrubs up OK and I don't think she looks any more "slapperish" than any of the others who are all wandering around with their flaps down most of the time.

Well you can all say what you like about Aisleyne but tonight she has proved to me that she's one of the nicest girls in the house.

Lea, Richard, Sam, Mikey and Aisleyne were sitting in the lounge area and all except "Ash" were being extremely vulgar. When I say "extremely vulgar" I mean totally gross. Discussing various sex acts and Lea giving a very graphic description of how she likes to give it and take it - it was totally yuk the way she was describing it. I'm broadminded but that woman has absolutely no shame or pride. Richard joined in with a few "gay sex" information and Mikey and Sam said a few less offensive things but the conversation was pretty basic to say the least.

Ash obviously didn't like the conversation and suddenly blurted out "Let's talk about Jesus, or global warming or the war in Iraq". They all laughed but it brought the crude conversation to an end.

I told you she was a good 'un. She's gone even higher in my estimation.

Maybe I'm being biased because she's my random housemate but I'm actually starting to like Aisleyne more and more with every show. I think she is coming across very genuine (and very clever!). It's refreshing to see someone who doesn't take any s.hit but who also doesn't spend every waking moment sitting in a corner bitching about someone.

I dont think Ash is as dumb as she looks and I think Gracie is dumber than it looks........ I would very muchly like to see Ash pull Grace about all the spite she is directing at Susie, especially when Grace was fully aware that Susie DIDNT know who she voted for would be up for eviction.........

Im warming to Ash more and more and it makes me roar when she talks in "patois" and called Imogen a "manteef" yesterday when discussing Mikey and how Imogen is getting "cliquie" with him.......will be amusing to see if Imogen and Mikey cop off once Grace is gone - as they are both as interesting as each other :sleepy:

Aisleyne is my least favourite housemate - I started off quite liking her but she's gone down and down in my estimation until she's reached the bottom.

She outright lied in yesterdays highlight show when she said that she didn't rub the soap on the brush....then stormed off because her team ddin't win.

Her accent sounds very false and forced

She bitches a lot about the other house mates and puts the other housemates down.

What on earth was all they crying about her eyelashes about?

I was laughing out loud at the eyelash thing - just struck me as funny. Poor thing looked so pathetic and then had to be squashed into Lea's balloons.

I still can't help liking her but she's not go much competition on the personality stakes, in my opinion. Every other woman in there is worse than her as far as I can tell (with the possible exception of Susie-Who).

No I REALLY want Aisleyne to go into the new house....then Lea will think Ash was exvcted because of the way Ash spoke to her.......and just imagine how miffed Lea wil be when Ash goes back into the main house and they realise she wasn't evicted after all!!

I've always liked Ash and have never seen her as any worse than any of the other HMs and a bit better than some (Lea for example).

I do think the House Next Door thing has gone to her head but the way they have played mind games with her I'm surprised she hasn't been carted away in a straight jacket.

Imagine:

You're out - Upset and worried about the Booing public.
No you're in - Surprise, delight, euphoria
You're in charge of a whole new house - more surprise, delight
You're getting some new housemates - disbelief, elation
Housemates are loud and difficult to control - worry about discovery and doing a proper job without antagonising them.
You have to evict them to their face - shock, horror, worry
You have to do the first one NOW! - panic, feeling under huge pressure
Hearing Jayne next door - WTF?

They're really screwing with her - no wonder she "passed out" on the bed after a small glass of wine yesterday.

So, although she's not been perfect I do think she's had a lot to deal with and am trying to imagine Nikki in the same situation - she would have gone into meltdown by now.

Still think she's hamming it up for the cameras.

As an aside, I came across a reference to Trashleyne in an unlikely place - this week's Private Eye:

Dumb Britain

Big Brother, C4

Questioner: Who was the first British monarch to be divorced?
Aisleyne: What's a monarch?
Questioner: A king or queen.
Aisleyne: Oh ... Charles.

Questioner: Who was the youngest member of the Beatles?
Aisleyne: Bono.

Well I found that extremely disturbing. I can't believe anyone can seriously think Aisleyne was faking it as many forum members (on Big Brother website) have said. She was really devastated.

Jayne was busy spreading her venom while Ash was trying to decide - whispering about her to all the other housemates. Jayne hates her. She was saying she was a f'ing idiot. Ash is in bits and Jayne is a two-faced mare. Grrrrrrr! I hope she's out next week.

I thought her distress was genuine too. Those tears were real and her face was all blotchy from crying. And I noticed that she didn't make any effort to check her appearance before going into the diary room, which is the usual sign of someone who is acting for the cameras.

I really do think she has found it very stressful to be the sole decision maker as to who get to have a chance at their dream and who doesn't.

I didn't see the bit with Jayne slagging her off, but I'm guessing that if you did, then other people will have done too and it will do Jayne no favours at eviction time.

Although I'm not an Aisleyne fan, I really could understand where she was coming from. She had to make a decision that would affect someone's life and I think she felt the pressure from it. What she had to go through was enough to be a catalyst for the crying episode. It was a pure release of emotions that probably have been bottled up for the last week. I think she had the right to wail and cry for as long as it took.
