Ah yes the ladies, well they stayed at home, forbidden to tread the airport flight steps to board the airplane with the England squad on board. Isn't it true that the ladies stayed at home and that managers were strict about allowing any visits by wives and girlfriends?

Some sportsmen do abstain before an event others not.

Do we hear the cry of 'we want more sex' or that's it 'we're on strike'?

Or is it a case of mad dogs and Englishment go out in the mid day sun?

Well sex saps the old energy levels and knackers you out...and you don't really want to be that when you have to face the likes of Germany, Argentina, or Brazil.

You can always spot the players who've been at it all night long - it's never been the most difficult of tasks...the spotting, that is.:sleepy:

If i was a national team boss i'd ask that the players leave their wives and girlfriends with me. As i'm not required to move about all that much during the course of a game (if Sven is anything to go by) then it wouldn't be a problem to assume the sole responsibility of ensuring their satisfaction.
