We missed this on Tuesday as we were on holiday and thought we would be able to watch it on Sunday as it is usually repeated, but for some reason it is not being shown today.

Can anyone fill me in with what happened and whose flashback did we get?

Many thanks!

I'd like to know why it was not repeated today as it usually is - do you think it's a delibrate ploy by Channel 4 just to wind you & me up, Bonnie?!:mad2:

Michael thinks he is talking to his son on the computer. He hits Locke over the head and sets of with a gun to find Walt. Jack, Locke and Sawyer follow after telling Kate to stay at the camp. As night falls one of the " others makes themselves known to them. (the main one who took Walt off the boat). He tells them it is their island and he will let them live if they keep where they are. Jack says no deal but then they produce a tied up Kate and Jack relents and hands over the guns and they make their way back to camp. Jack is really annoyed at Kate. Jin wanted to go with them to help with the search but Sun said NO he is all she has left and they work through a few things.

I think the flashback for this one was Jacks story where he was married to the girl who he operated on. Another man wanted to be opeated on but he said no it`s too risky but the mans daughter talked him round and he did the op but the man died. The daughter was upset and Jack kissed her. He then went home and told his wife and said they would sort things out but she had already planned to leave him as she was seeing someone else.

I hope that all made sense. Any questions, feel free to ask.

Thanks Seabreeze, I checked out the Channel 4 site - it's here if you want to read it Bonnie:

http://www.channel4.com/entertainment/tv/microsites/L/lost/season2/episode_11.html

However, it didn't tell you what Jack's wife had told him - did he know who he left her for?

Cheers, mucho appreciated!

I hate Jack's flashbacks. They're boring.

I hate Jack's flashbacks. They're boring.

It seems we are seeing more of Jack & Kate and not enough of the rest. I want to see more of Claire, more of Locke - we still haven't found out how he ended up in the wheelchair and why did that fortune-teller guy insist that Claire had to go to the island?

Patience Bella! There is a Claire episode coming up soon. Hopefully it will answer even more questions about why her baby should not have been brought up by another person etc.
And I suspect there'll be another Locke episode in the rest of this series too.

I agree though - far too much Jack and Kate.

Is everyone still watching this ???

I have missed a few of late - but i saw last nights episode, and didnt feel like i had lost any of the plot.

It is getting dreary now though. They really need to cut some of the adverts - and move the pace along a bit.

You watch an hours show (or 30 mins if you cut the ads, and 'next weeks show' sections) and you dont feel that the storyline has moved on.

I would give up - but its a bit like a boring book. You know you should put it down and start something else .... but you cant bring yourself to do it.

Don`t stop watching it. My daughter says there are quite a few boring episodes where not a lot happens then all of a sudden it all starts again with quite a few surprises.

I'm still watching!

The last one I saw was the one with Clares flashbacks.........I have the one that was on E4 this week taped to watch tonight when Mr M gets home.

I'm enjoying it still......but I don't really have a blooming clue whats going on!

I want to mention something about the episode with Clares flashbacks...but I'll wait to see where everyone else is up to first cos I don't want to ruin it for anyone.....

Has C4 shown the one I'm talking about yet?

Last nights show was indeed Claire's flashbacks - and she found the room where the 'Others' had taken her.

I'm still watching! It is all getting rather confusing though. But I';ve heard the season 2 finale is supposed to be a good one.

Well......you know that stuff they were injecting into Clare's stomach? It had the numbers on it (you know, Hurleys lottery numbers and the numbers they have to put into the computer?). I really have NO clue at all what it is with these numbers....I don't even have a theory.

Another thing I noticed......in the episode with Sayid's flashbacks a couple of weeks ago, a soldier sitting opposite him at one point was Kate's dad?

What I can't figure out is why Charlie made the fake attack on Sun so the rest would all think it was the others trying to get her? I know that he did it for Sawyer...but I can't figure out why he agreed to do it?

I'm very confused with the whole thing at the moment!!

As you said he did it for Sawyer but also that Locke would look stupid as well. Locke was supposed to be in charge of the guns and Charlie followed him without him knowing. He wanted to get back at Locke for the beating he took off him the other week.

And also..because Locke has 'taken his place' in Claire's affections.
Locke made her baby a little rock-a-cot..and Locke sleeps near her at night to keep her and the baby safe.
Charlie is jealous........

Have they shown the Sawyer flash back yet? (the shower scene?:D )
The waitress who serves Sawyer and his buddie in the diner is Kate's mum.
:-O:ghost:
All these connections................

Thanks Seabreeze and Aondeag - that makes a bit more sense now.....

Well, i think i have officially stopped watching this.

Last night it was a toss up between this or Love Island, and i chose Love Island.

Im bored with the way the show never moves on. You spend a whole hour sat in front of the telly (although only about 40 mins is the show) and at the end of the hour you seem no further forward.

Its lost my interest, so i have given up.

Seabreeze

How could you. I know the last few episodes have been a little slow but they have always shown you something else that relates to another person or how they all connected before and even the same numbers keeping popping up again and again. My daughter informs me that although there are a few boring episodes not to give up and it all kicks off again soon with some unexpected events.

Last weeks on E4 was very unexpected. Not sure what`s going on but it`s certainly not what we expected to happen. The plot thickens

The surprises just keep coming don't they SB :) It's been so long since I watched it, I'll have to re-watch Series 2 (or some of it) before Series 3 starts. I don't even know when Series 3 starts in the States. I think it said next year :( I think I'll go and have a browse round the website and see if there are any updates.

Edit: At the end of the last episode synopsis it says "See you next year" but apparently Season 3 starts on Wednesday October 4th. Don't know if I can be bothered to download it all though. (who am I kidding, I'll be there) :)

I've downloaded and watched all of Season 2 (couldn't wait for them to come on TV) and after watching the season 2 finale (which imo was quite disappointing but still good), I am left with even more questions than I had when it started! Argghhh!
And I think there is a lot more to this Libby one than meets the eye.
Roll on Season 3!
