and then this section can be discussions about individual films. that one catch all thread is what the section is about.. get mi?

its like having a thread called "what did you watch on TV recently" thread in TV etc..

err yeah I think so. I'd rather see individual threads for each film as well. A lot easier.

Would help with the search engines and might bring in more people.

By all means post in the "Whats the last film you watched" thread as well. But it would be a lot better if we had individual threads.

I can think of another reason for keeping it to individual threads. When I see a film, I prefer not to know in advance what the plot is, what happens, how it ends etc. With separate threads I can avoid anything I'm planning to see, whereas with the 'what was the last ...' thread you might wade in and read a 'spoiler' as some people can't talk about a film without revealing everything.

The idea of the 'What's the last film you watched thread' is to comment on old films you've seen again or films that others are unlikely to rush to at the cinema but one or two may want to view...

The blockbusters can have their own thread...that's down to the individual but personally I have found that after a couple of posts the thread becomes redundant and just fills a part of the page...

I am a bit of a minimalist and so the 'What's the last film you watched' thread suits me!

there was a thread ijh the TV forum a while back of the same ilk but it died...the fact that this thread has lived on shows it works!

Maybe if new films get their own thread this would be more to your preference but it's great to nbe reminded of some the old films as people watch them again and the '...last film...' thread serves this purpose well IMHO!

however that may be fine but it has not worked and has stifled the whole section!

You need to get out to the pictures more!
