I've got one.

Last night I went along to a complete freebie so I had to didn't I?

Isn't it horrible, though, when you go over in your mind all the drivel you came out with while under the influence? Grouch?

Anyone got any good hangover cures?

 Do you mean the PMs Max? Dont worry, I wont forward them.

Anyone got any good hangover cures?

Stay drunk.:wink2:

This is what I do Max. Start off with tea; usually 2 cups required before I can face food. Food is the key, though. Bacon and egg sandwich with loads of ketchup and gallons of fresh orange juice, or a full english breakfast, or a MacDonalds breakfast.

Tea + greasy brekky + OJ = human

Its a bit too late now, but my best hangover stopper is water.

When i have a long session down the pub i get home, pour two pints of water and make Mr.B drink one and i have one. It really does seem to eliminate hangovers ... but like i said, its a little too late when its the next morning.

I dont think there is a 'cure'. I really think you need to drink plenty of water, and try eating a few plain biscuits in an hour or so to get your system working again.

By lunchtime you will be fine.

 that sounds awful, especially if sickness is involved.

It depends what hangover it is. Is it just a headache (then Patsy's remedy is good) or do you feel sick ?

If i ever get a hangover i have a really churning stomach, and i have trouble keeping even water down. I couldnt drink anything flavoured ... or eat.

Hair of the dog.

I've never been able to understand the hair of the dog thing. Having had a skinful the night before, the thought of more in the morning makes me feel sick. My hangovers are usually just dehydration, tiredness and headache, with a mild amount of nausea. I find eating an english breakfast or something similar makes me feel a little queezy initially, but I feel much better afterwards. I can't see how the hair of the dog can work.

It's homeopathic.

Big greasy fry up usually does it for me, soaks up all that alcohol. Also Mars Bars are supposed to be good because of the glucose.

I read somewhere that bananas are good as the pottasium in them helps a hangover.

My brother used to swear by fried egg sandwiches.

Grease!

A kebab at the end of the night (bread helps to soak up alcohol)

And a fry up in the morning.

Plenty of tea!

Although I think Bonsai's idea of drinking water after a drinking session is good! If only I could remember this while I was drunk. I think it's all about dehydration so keeping topped up with water before you go to bed and then again when you wake up should be an okay remedy.

Solpadeine and a fry-up

But if you've spent the night sleeping half-way up the stairs , Ibuprofen is better for the muscle ache.

I agree with Bonnie. After a heavy night, if I am able, I make myself drink 2 pints of water before i go to bed and it makes me feel so much better in the morning. Luckily, I've never p*ssed the bed before.

Drunk now! I shall test the water thingy. I'm only drunk in the aid of testing this hypothesis.... I'm not a ****head! I drink in the name of science!
