Groucho 02-08-2006, 11:11 PM Go on, there must be one or two!
I'll give good rep to anyone who names names, and my rep carries some considerable cashé these days!:good:
Fee For All 02-08-2006, 11:19 PM I don't know who gets up your @rse Groucho.
But Mo does my head in :ninja: as you might have guessed
I'll take my cash in unmarked tenners please.
Critique 02-08-2006, 11:25 PM OK, I'll play then.
Survivorfan really gets up my @rse (and he knows it) because despite the fact that I've asked him to lay off and that I have only replied to his posts in a positive way to try and diffuse things he still manages to make me feel stupid when he could just as easily say nothing!
He's the main reason why I don't come here as often as I did because every time I go to post something I have to read it and re-read it and I can tell he's going to pick the bones out of it so I delete it and don't bother.
bridge 03-08-2006, 07:36 AM I have no wish to get up anyone's A R S E ..Ewwwww:huh:
I love everyone well except for.............Bon's, Survivor, Bella, Floops, Maureen, Msgirl, Grouch, Pat's, Crit, Fee, Haydon......................:wink2: :p
Can I play too?
Groucho, you sometimes get up my ar$e because on more than one occasion you've made a snidey comment in reply to one of my posts, for no reason at all.

There now PJ, doesn't that feel better? :applause:
Btw, there's always a reason!
survivorfan 03-08-2006, 08:12 AM He's the main reason why I don't come here as often as I did
You should be thanking me for doing you a service then.
Bonsai 03-08-2006, 08:48 AM Hmmm, all of you have at one time or another ... does that make me a bad person.
Right now Grouch - you win. Just because you are loaded, not all of us are.

You mean p*ssed?
Not anymore, horribly hungover now!
Bonsai 03-08-2006, 08:55 AM Not anymore, horribly hungover now!
I hope you arent suffering too much (said with as much sarcasm as i can muster on a wet Thursday morning) :ninja:
floopy 03-08-2006, 08:59 AM Groucho, you get up my **** because you're extremely good at stirring up trouble without ever getting your fingers dirty.
How about you put your money where you mouth is for a change and actually name names rather than just limping along on the back of other people's arguments? :bye:
Groucho 03-08-2006, 09:13 AM Ooh, it's like summoning a genie from a bottle!
I thought it had gotten colder round here.:cold:
How about you put your money where you mouth is for a change and actually name names
OK babycakes, YOU DO! :glare:
floopy 03-08-2006, 09:23 AM Yeah well, YOU DO TOO so there!
Jeez is that all you can muster? Get back to playgroup darling.
mikado 03-08-2006, 09:48 AM I think a much better thread would have been: "Members whose @rses I would like to get up."
survivorfan 03-08-2006, 09:49 AM I think a much better thread would have been: "Members whose @rses I would like to get up."
OK Mik - you go first.
Groucho 03-08-2006, 09:51 AM Go for it Mik......been to any of those good parties recently?
Patsy 03-08-2006, 10:09 AM Jakey used to get my goat (much more appropriate for a minor, dontcha think?), but he's gone - thank the Lord!
ILS used to get up my ar$e because she made it sooooo obvious that I got up hers and spoiled my enjoyment of this wonderful place. Why, I really don't know and if you're reading this ils I REALLY DON'T CARE! :bye:
mikado 03-08-2006, 10:40 AM OK Mik - you go first.
Go for it Mik
Well obviously you two would be at the verytop of my list :)
rubbernecking is a useful skill at those good parties you know!
Patsy 03-08-2006, 10:45 AM Groucho, you get up my **** because you're extremely good at stirring up trouble without ever getting your fingers dirty.
I know what you mean, floops, but it's not Groucho who gets up mine (not for this reason, anyway), but all the ar$e-licking groupies on the board who would crucify anyone else if they did/said the same things.
Patsy 03-08-2006, 10:48 AM Isle of Weather sometimes gets up my ar$e because most of what he says, he says for maximum shock value - and that style is soooooo last season.

survivorfan 03-08-2006, 10:53 AM despite the fact that I've asked him to lay off and that I have only replied to his posts in a positive way to try and diffuse things
I presume this includes your reaction to the infamous Jap Snap, and your suggestion I should f-**k off you moron when I once disagreed with you. YOu're right, all highly positive stuff.
You're probably letting something bother you that you should let go of, after all, I think the only time recently I reacted to one of your posts was to disagree about the merits of 'Aisleyne' which unless you have your priorities all wrong is hardly something to get concerned about.
survivorfan 03-08-2006, 10:55 AM Well obviously you two would be at the verytop of my list :)
Can I put you at the bottom?
Bella 03-08-2006, 11:09 AM I don't have to name names to say who got my ar$e, it was hardly a well hidden secret!
Mo, sorry love but I just can't get my head round what it is your trying to get across.
IOW - sometimes you just talk out of your ar$e.
Critique 03-08-2006, 11:11 AM I presume this includes your reaction to the infamous Jap Snap, and your suggestion I should f-uck off you moron when I once disagreed with you. YOu're right, all highly positive stuff.

See, there you go again. You deliberately twist things to your own end. I said "to diffuse" things which is obviously a reference to our mutual differences after the Jap Snap (and I don't remember telling you to F-off but if I did you must have really pi$$ed me off because it's not something I say generally) but you have to bring up those 2 points because it makes you appear to be so virtuous and me to be a liar.
Well done SF. You play dirty and you don't care if it doesn't win you any friends because you don't need them do you? In fact, why are you here? Who ARE you? Where do they find these people? Ooops, maybe I do watch too much Big Brother.
I don't have my priorities wrong - you do. You must come on here with the attitude of "who can I ridicule or make to look like a plonker today then" and all you're really doing is making yourself look bad. Get over it.
survivorfan 03-08-2006, 11:15 AM You're very good at making someone else look like an aggressor as a way of having a go at them. Passive-aggressive behaviour it's called isn't it?
If you have some built-up anger that you need to get off your chest by having a bish-bash with some bloke, you might be better off having a go at your old man, I think from what you've said about him this might be at the root of it.
Critique 03-08-2006, 11:24 AM You're very good at making someone else look like an aggressor as a way of having a go at them. Passive-aggressive behaviour it's called isn't it?

Clarify? I need to know what you're referring to here before I can even attempt to reply.
Haydon 03-08-2006, 11:28 AM I've compiled my very own list (it's quite long so bear with me).
I really wish you lot would give me some sort of prior notice as to when you're all going to start bitching and fighting. Perhaps some sort of warning bell could be rigged up? Something that rings in my office when something is going down in the playground? Perhaps it should be tied into Groucho's alchohol level as well. Could be quite technical, so maybe it's a job for Blink.
Dang, my list is too big! In fact it's too long to post it here, so I've had to create a whole web page about it. If you can be bothered to read my list, here it is (http://www.survivor-online.co.uk/forums/memberlist.php). j/k
Peeps, remember.... be happy. :) and don't be too spiteful to one another, there really is a person at the other end. Some of those people may not have such thick skin as you.
Critique 03-08-2006, 11:37 AM Still scouring all my previous posts to find some evidence SF? Or do you keep notes of things to use in possible future arguments?
That's a very old trick, by the way. Insinuate that someone has a problem with somebody else and is taking it out on you - in your words "diddums".
survivorfan 03-08-2006, 11:41 AM No, I don't take notes. You mentioned your hubby a couple of times to my recollection, both times to complain about something or other. Anyway, I have been taken to task about my last post as going too far, so I'd better stop that particular line of inquiry.
floopy 03-08-2006, 11:45 AM I hate the fact that Haydon's posts always fall a little short of the black leather clad dictator I was hoping for.

floopy 03-08-2006, 11:58 AM Hell no, I don't trust anyone on here, more fool anyone who does.
Anyone on the planet can read anything you type, loonies, murderers, rapists, paedophiles, politicians. It may feel like a coffee group cos the people who post all know each other, but don't forget the lurkers.....

To my knowledge Crit has never implied anything wrong in her relationship with her partner, my brother, other than general frustrations about every day things that we all get off our chest on here.
Their relationship is very easy going and probably better than most of the couples on here to imply anything else touches on being over personal for a cyber site.
Now if you wish to score points on my defence of my SIL feel free.
BTW I do have people that annoy me on here but I gave up name calling in kindergarten.

I have no idea as I don't read all the posts and when Crit and I meet up SO is rarely discussed, we tend to chat more about RL issues.
I joined in this thread as I believe your remark was way to personal and far from the truth and I felt the need to state that.

DO me a favour, next time you see her try to find out what it is - she clearly has a bone up her ass about something, and whatever it is needs sorting. If it's just my posting style she doesn't like, I'd have to say tough - this is a public discussion forum not a Mothers' Meeting. On the other hand if she thinks I'm targetting her in some way, ask her to show you what she means and if you think she's right let me know and I'll take a look.
Northern angel 04-08-2006, 10:12 PM ahh I take that as a compliment. :) In the past people genuinely thought I was a dictator. hehe. Not me.... the leather chaps my hairy legs too much.
Hello Haydon,
If leather is a material you are fond of wearing, the trousers need copious amounts of talc next to the skin, to render easy removal when undressing.

Northern angel 04-08-2006, 11:54 PM Bu that's the thing, don't put personal stuff about yourself up for discussion on the internet if you don't want it thrown back at you in whatever form at a later date.
I must have it wrong again. Having a laugh at yourself now and then isn't a bad idea, but ultimately we all need to respect each other for who we are.
An important part of that is knowing when to say your sorry.

Northern angel 05-08-2006, 09:28 AM Isle of Weather sometimes gets up my ar$e because most of what he says, he says for maximum shock value - and that style is soooooo last season.
Oooo this is good. Where's Ceri when you need her?
Since when has there been an in season or off season, for style and trend. Isle of Weather writes good posts does he not? Irrespective of whether such posts are intended for maximum shock or not its far better than trivia. In fact anyone with anything to say in any debate contributes in a valuable and up to date way. Not last season at all.
Maureen
Northern angel.
Fee For All 05-08-2006, 10:45 AM Since when has there been an in season or off season, for style and trend.
Pretty much forever, I'd say. Chaucer's Middle English, Shakespeare's rhyming couplets, Victorian melodrama, transatlantic influences, the dreaded txt spk...
And now, as internet posting becomes more common, the style is inevitably evolving, with a falling off of the Keyboard Warrior style that Patsy referred to.
In fact anyone with anything to say in any debate contributes in a valuable and up to date way.
That's a rather sweeping statement!
Northern angel 05-08-2006, 11:56 AM Hello Fee,
Oooh, love most of your first sentence except, text speak. I did spy a book to aid deciphering the annoying coded language, but it still annoys me as students have used it in assignments.
On the subject of what people contribute, I apologise I am fond of sweeping statements. The one above I think is true in most cases, its also current and of the day.
BTW apologies for getting up your ****. It was not intended.

excuse me I must go and read the CLI spoilers so that I know what is going to happen and therefore not have to tear myself away to watch the real world and miss time on here.

Well the fact that you found slipper's post to be absolutely hilarious, when it was obviously a ****-take of that kind of thread, would lead most people, myself included, to draw that conclusion. Plus the fact that you don't take part in them. Hardly rocket science, even for someone as lacking in comprehension as me  .

Me up your **** and you're butch? Goodness, do you wear dungarees? :w00t:
Figaro 08-08-2006, 06:31 PM Well the fact that you found slipper's post to be absolutely hilarious, when it was obviously a ****-take of that kind of thread, would lead most people, myself included, to draw that conclusion. Plus the fact that you don't take part in them. Hardly rocket science, even for someone as lacking in comprehension as me  .
Draw as many conclusions as you like, but it won't turn your conclusions into "fact".
I found Slippers post hilarious because I appreciated the underlying sarcasm. Whether or not I actually agreed with the underlying sentiment is not something I revealed and therefore is not something you actually know.
As for the more pointless threads, I don't post on them very often because I am not here very often. Simple as that. My personal feelings on those threads is again not something that you have any knowledge of.
floopy 08-08-2006, 06:38 PM You seem very reluctant to state your actual opinion on anything, Figaro. Why so guarded?
Isn't the point of a discussion forum to discuss your point of view? We can all tell people what we don't think, but it's far more interesting to say what you actually do think. Don't you think?
What's the point of implications and ambiguities? Doesn't make for very interesting discussion.

It sounds like all formal negotiations have broken down Slipps. :surrender:
Bonnie has lined her tanks up along the border between their 2 desks!:boxing:

Not true. I believe that I use this discussion forum in the manner intended. I agree that it is more interesting to state your actual thoughts on a matter, but I think I have done that more than once, on more than one thread in this forum.
But I state my point of view on the things that I want to state my point of view on, and decline to do so on the things that I don't want to proffer an opinion on. Isn't that the same as every member here?
But, if I don't state an opinion it doesn't necessarily mean that I am being guarded. It just means that I haven't chosen to state my opinion.
Joining a discussion forum does not oblige you to voice your opinion on every thread you read. You are surely as free to decline from statement as you are welcomed to make one?

I've got more bad rep than good on my current showing! :w00t:
