Miami Vice - staring the sexy Colin Farrel and the incredibly talented Jamie Foxx.
Written and directed by Michael Mann (Heat, Collateral) I was peeing myself with excitement as I went into the cinema...an hour in and I was wondering when it would end:cry:
The normal pace and rythm, that makes Mann films so addictive to me, just wasn't there...yes there were some excellent action scenes and the odd meaningfull slow bit but all too often it dragged. Too many long pauses and too much drawn out dialogue and the woman who acted as Colins love interest was absolutely appaulling...all too often her mouth said one thing and her face either said nothing or something completely different that wasn't in context with anything or anywhere the story was going...she really began to annoy me!:mad2:
Anyway...I wouldn't recommend this unless you are a hardened Mann, Farrell, Foxx fan (like me although even I struggled) as maybe then you can forgive them.
