what does 1A/2B mean? I don't understand the point scoring system.

Do the uni's get to see their results before they do? In my day you got an offer then had to get the grades to match it.

I think she means she is expecting a result of 1A and 2b`s.

Yep, The Uni's let you know if you met the criteria and are in or not before the student gets the grades.

Leeds wanted 1A (English) and 2B's so she has got that at least as they have confirmed her placement.

She's on her way to go and get the grades from her college now.

I must say it seems strange that they build you up or let you down before you've even got your grades. If she hadn't been confirmed as in she'd be all down and wondering what it was that had got.

Has that changed from last year then Slipper because I definately got my grades first AND I'm at Leeds Uni?

Just goes to show how misleading the internet can be, in your earlier posts in other threads you don't sound old enough to have a daughter about to enter University. What with all those Batechelor do's and travelling.

So Congratualations to her and good luck.

She can find out her results by ringing her school examination centre room, if she needs to know them earlier.

Give her time, maybe driving could be next on her agenda. Great news anyway.
