I have to say I don't hate David Gest! so far (first night's viewing!) his performance hasn't been too shabby, although I didn't like to hear him describing Jan Leeming as a vagina - it's such a horrible horrible word - a c**t would have sounder much nicer!

He could end up being like Carol Thatcher last year - her reputation went before her and she was voted the first to do the trial and she just got better & better.

David certainly isn't coming across as the Diva he has been painted as - that's the last time I believe Phil & Fern!

David Gest went up in my estimation when he confronted her - good for him!! And wasn't it a hoot when he called Cherie - wonder if that was delibrate to get her back up? Whatever, he certainly riled her and put her in her place!!

Can't disagree with anything said so far about David. I dont hate him yet either.

Toby however, is a bit of a #####, but he may calm down over the next few days.

Scott is by far the most loathsome in my book so far.

I was txting both my sis's (hairdressers) last night and asking if he was one of their customers.......Im sad to say that my youngest and most vulgar sis took it all a bit far and got very rude and disgusting, talking about wanting to lick his face and other bodily parts.....the sick little monkey :shocking:

Faith Browns breasts in your face all the time are worse than Davids face and hair plugs. I expected to really dislike him but so far he has done nothing but gone up in my estimation.

I liked the fact that he didn't go the usual route of backstabbing, he did speak to someone about Lauren but then proceeded to tackle her head on.

I am surprisingly warming to David which I never thought I would do. He did he task really well although I counted less than 10 things in the tank with him but he was sure there was 40 or more ! Early days but I hope he stays a lot longer yet.

I don't think he will be the first out, I think he may be there for some time. As others have said, I actually quite, in a weird sort of way, like him. He is amking me titter outloud at some of the things he is coming out with. Unlike Scott whasisname, who is a tart.

I think David is funny. From the pre publicity I thought he would be a total diva, but as it happens he seems to be fairly genuine, and he has a sense of humour. Ok he looks weird, but I'm sure his Mum loves him. Keep him in.
