Fiona on breakfast tv keeps saying she looks good for 65 - she doesn't! she looks really really ropey imo. I always thought she did look ropey even in her supposed hey dey ... didn't she wear a lot of frilly "Princess Di" blouses all the time?

just cos she's not a fat old bloater doesn't make her attrractive, it takes more than being skinny to be attractive Fiona!

and as someone else said after five husbands I think maybe she should look to herself for the reason! one, or two and at a real real push three ex-husbands can be brushed under the carpet but FIVE?! give me a break Jan and get off my tv screen!

I can't understand why she would want to go into the jungle in the first place! She is a major whinge and just horrid. It was so obvious that Scott & Jan were going to be up for the trial as last night's show was editing towards them but she doesn't quite get does she? She was shocked that she was chosen as she had already done a trial!

I reckon she may walk soon!

I couldnt believe her in the hay challenge last night. She kept saying she would of been ok and they would of found the keys if only 'she had a man with her'. WTF. The girl she was with was working her nuts off. So Jan wanted a bloke there so she could of sat around even more than she did whilst he did all the work ?

Grrr! Complete waste of space. I hope she walks or gets voted off first (or they "forget" to attach the safety harness in tonight's BTT) not that I think she will even try it

The look of pure surprise on her face when she was voted again for the bush tukka trial was priceless - "I thought as I had already done it, they (the GBP) would leave me alone - whine whine". Totally precious cry baby whiner. She loves the men tho doesnt she?

unreal - if I'd of been Phina I would have boxed her. Phina found 2 keys, Jan nothing and then this pathetic 'I'm not blaming Phina, it's my fault for not standing up to her bullying'!!!

get her the fek out. Oh, btw, when does the voting out start? And will the GBP do a number on her and keep her doing tasks instead of evicting her?

It was when Phina found the second key, instead of saying well done and congratulating her she gave her a hard time about throwing the hay around that had not been looked at!! Talk about ungrateful!

Her son was on GMTV this morning and I kind of got the feeling that he is really embarrassed and wished that his mother never went. He has been getting hassle from the papers and is clearly not happy with her antics!

I hope this isnt the case. To me it isnt a good trial if the person voted to do it is a wuss and wont have a go. Its over too quickly.

I would rather she took her sorry ar*se back home, and let the braver people amongst the group have a go.

I was dissapointed when the GBP chose Jan and Scott to do the next task as you just know she will wimp out.

Every time I see her I think of the French and Saunders sketch where they are the wardrobe mistresses and all they go on about is Jan Leemings polyester blouses

She really irritated me when she was bleating on about doing the task with a bloke, stuuuuuupid woman........how hard is it to move a bit of straw - how Phina didnt lamp one on here I dont know!!!! Stop playing the pathetic female role you spoilt pampered woman, good job her journalism was confined to the news room, could you imagine her doing a Kate Aidie????????

Didn't she leave her newscasting job because she found the news too depressing? I suspect she's getting the same feeling about her latest TV venture.

I must say I'm looking forward to seeing her up on that wire tonight.

I haven't posted on here for ages but can't wait to get going again.

I heard earlier on This Morning that the "cry baby" and Scott haven't done very well with their trial again. No surprises there then. We won't know until tonite's episode how many stars they actually got, but I gather that the food is going to be an issue again. Oh and yes, there were yet more tears.

As there is a live trial tonite its bound to be something to do with eating bugs so whats the betting the "cry baby" or Scott get voted to do it. It reminds me of how wimpy Natalie was in the jungle when she was voted to do the trials every time. The GBP don't like moany whingers and keep voting for them to do the trials every time just to see them squirm.

But this is what i dont like. I would rather see someone strong mentally doing the eating trial and having a good go at it .... like Jordan and Kerry one year. They were fabulous and up for anything.

What is the point of seeing someone whinging and whining and after one sniff of a worm walking away. It would be very boring.

If she starts wth that again, Ill personally fly over to Australia and choke her.

What gets me with Jan Leeming was that during the Hayrick Treasure Chest task, all she was doing was deep sighing, casting dirty looks in Phina's direction and rolling her eyes at the camera and backstabbing her. I think Jan has met her match in Phina - in that she was more dominant and Jan doesnt like being told what to do or how to do things.

Phina found two keys because she was applying herself more and had more enthusiasm....... Jan was a pain in the arrse.

What gets me with Jan Leeming is the way she manipulates others. She went back to camp, chest hitching, saying "I told her, I said it was getting dark and we should be going back and she wouldnt..... (sob)... Im exhausted, Im dirty, we didnt get the chest...." etc etc...........

She reminds me of Nikki in Big Brother - who rarely actually cried- but did a fantastic 'crying voice', which fooled the more gullible.

That's what got me! "I TOLD her ..." - yeah well what did you tell her then - that you should just give up! Path-bloody-etic.

There is a difference between actually liking someones personality in real life and enjoying watching that insane deluded personality on a silly reality tv show.
I think for most it is the latter.
I totally enjoy watching her madness and she will know exactly why so many kept her in this far when the show ends. Her delusions will come crashing down on her..no doubt. The headlines, her son and all the commentary on the show.
SHE is the highlight of this show this season..not becouse she is loved..but becouse of her warped madness and delusions.
Except for David and Jan..the rest in camp are complete bores.

THere was a story doing the rounds in the late 1980s or early 1990s about a usually very proper female BBC newsreader who was alone in a studio or back room with a BBC technician and unfortunately for her, but to the delight of some of the sound crew, her outburst (I WANT YOU TO F%%K ME - NOW) was caught on the monitors and a recording tape that someone had 'accidentally' left on.

No name was mentioned, and I remember wondering at the time if it was Angela Rippon, but I hadn't considered the - er - other possibility.

How hilarious survivorfan - in fact you have jogged my memory and I seem to remember that too!

How funny was it when the half her age and obviously much stronger Myleen, Malladra and Dean very kindly I thought let her win the arm wrestling so she could have the coffee and the silly auld cow actually thought she had beaten them! It was wonderfully embarrasing hearing about her "technique". Priceless.

Sue Lawley was famous for her swearing etc back in the early 80's. I recall there were a lot of 'out-take' videos doing the black market rounds, and she was frequently on them. Back then it was still a bit shocking to hear a 'lady' use the F word as a matter of course...!!

Jan Leeming in Playboy (bonnie hunts for sick smilie)

Now, dont get me wrong - she looks good for her age ..... but i doubt anyone will rush to get a copy.

Dolores
29-11-2006, 09:15 AM
why does everyone think she "looks good for her age"? I don't get it! she looks like a 65 year old woman with delusions of being 45. What's with the long hair and the pigtails? What's with the scrawny, loose skinned, flat chested body that she seems to think Playboy would be willing to pay quarter of a million to see spread across their centre pages?!

she is an intensely irritating old woman who wants to be the centre of attention but hasn't quite got the tools to carry it off, and so she snipes and becomes "chippy".

Loved it when she spelt "embarrassing" wrong!!! :applause: the hoity toity cow thought she had the spelling contest nailed didn't she!

Pandora
29-11-2006, 11:33 AM
I so agree that she does NOT look good for her age. She looks every single one of her 63 years, plus more !

The Playboy conversation went from a teasing remark from the others to something serious for the terminally deluded Jan. She was later seen saying to Dean, (and obviously fishing for compliments), "I mean, what would Playboy want with someone of MY age with hardly any boobs????" Errr Jan, I would imagine Hugh Hefner would close the Playboy empire down before he would consider having you as his centrefold !

The spelling test was brilliant. The look on her face was priceless as she got a word wrong. I cant stand her and hope she is out before Gaffney the reptile.

Oh an everyone is now saying she has chilled out as the camp has got smaller. Could it be anything to do with the fact that there are barely any women in there now????

I think that when Ant & Dec announced she was in the bottom two, she used the excuse of wanting to go to the loo to shed a few tears. I did find her extremely annoying though, especially in the first week but she was also very entertaining to watch. Matt's impression of her always looking for something around the camp was spot on.

Pandora
30-11-2006, 12:32 PM
I notice that Ant and Dec made a point, during her interview, of saying, "Jan you really HAVE changed from the person we saw when you went in....." (in other words, Jan you were a pompous baggage and camping in the jungle for 3 weeks has relieved you of all your pretentions).

I think they will miss her in camp though, as she seemed to be the only one washing up, cooking, cleaning up and collecting wood !

While we've been in Wales this week I've managed to watch most of Celeb by disappearing upstairs with my niece who also loves it. When Jan was up for eviction my niece went out so she taped it.

When we watched it back the tape ran out before the eviction interview  I really wanted to see Ant and Dec showing her how stupid she looked with the singing and the arm wrestling thing. Did she look at all embarrassed? Does she think she'll be bringing out a CD in the near future?

They didnt show her the godawful, ghastly singing, but they DID show her the arm wrestling. Remember when the girls in the camp decided to let Jan win and basically giggled their way through the arm wrestling ? Jan was in "Jan World" as usual, didnt pick up on ANY of the giggling body language and presumed that it was "her technique" that won her the pot of coffee...

When shown what really happened, she took it well and said, "aw bless them"...
Ant and Dec made a very obvious point of saying though that they thought Jan had changed incredibly since going into the jungle (which says a lot about what they thought about her personality!)

Thanks Pan, I just remembered that I read this earlier on today and meant to come back and say "thanks" for the info but forgot

Can't believe poor deluded Jan really thought she'd won the arm wrestling fair and square (well, yes, I suppose I can seeing as how she also thought she was a great singer too) :D
