I HATE Children in Need on tv with a passion only matched by my hatred of Comic Relief on tv!

although obviously I recognise they both do a great deal of good - I just get everso slightly pee'd off with all the do-gooding the "celebs" do.

it's a total snooze fest imo!

I've heard David Beckham will be doing the laundrette advert in an Eastenders special, but unfortunately I doubt I'll catch it as Corrie and IACGMOOH take precedence.

I always record these sort of programmes then just run through it all to see if I missed anything exciting

The only thing I watched from last night was the BBC newsreaders doing James Bond

This is exactly how i feel. I would rather gouge my eyes out (well, maybe thats a small exageration) than watch these sort of programs.

They are worthy causes, but i cant sit for hours on end watching people making prats of themselves.

Cheers Dol !!! I feel exactly the same way. I dont mind putting a couple of quid in a bucket outside Sainsburys to someone dressed as a pirate, but Ill be damned if Im watching Children in Need all night. Im proud to say I didnt watch a millisecond of it.
