View Full Version : Whatchya watchin'?
Coastie 01-12-2006, 05:37 AM At the moment my priorities are:
The State Within
Without a Trace (even though I have already seen the full series which is now being repeated on ch4...can't get enough)
Gordons Kitchen Nightmares
The Innocence Project
and I am becoming increasing annoyed with the TV companies for putting so much stuffon a 9pm on a Thursday that I want to watch! I can only tape one channel when out or watch one and tape another when home...it's so frustrating as there seems to be something on four or five channels each week I want to see at 9pm on a Thursday night and yet naff all on most other nights:cry:
Tigereye 01-12-2006, 11:49 AM Love Ramsey - was looking through his autobiography today - interesting life.
taped over this weeks one with the Michilin Star winning guy in the seaside town - big ego but nineties cooking and dark little restaurant?
what happened - did they turn it around as he was in danger of losing everything?
also watching Without a trace 3 times weekly
Law & Order four times weekly and
CSI five times weekly, as well as some soaps. Poor auld Eric doesn't get much of a look-in !!
Bonsai 01-12-2006, 12:02 PM There isnt anything except IAC that im interested in watching at the moment.
Once IAC finishes tonight i recon i will be watching films / discovery channel programs for the forseeable future.
maxine 01-12-2006, 01:01 PM IAC, Corrie, X Factor, Strictly dancing and Unanimous. God, I need to get out more!

They re named the place and he is doing well now. did the usual Gordon thing and slahsed the prices and the menu and started cooking 'proper' food and business is booming!
Patsy 01-12-2006, 04:14 PM Corrie and Stenders, Grey's Anatomy, America's Next Top Model, X Factor, Strictly CD, Friends at breakfast-time, Simpsons.
Shallow? Moi? Oh, no. A Child Against All Odds for a bit of........ well, for something that's not shallow.
Interspersed with the odd film and documentary, but these are my main must-sees.
Figaro 01-12-2006, 04:54 PM At the moment, I am regularly watching:
- X-Factor (although it doesn't bother me if I miss it and I don't tape it if I'm out)
- Strictly Come Dancing
- Lost
errrrmmm, that it.
Not much there that could be described as intellectual viewing.
maxine 01-12-2006, 05:42 PM Well, Fig (can I call you that?) I'd be watching Lost too if it hadn't gone over to bleeding Sky. Btw Crit, if you're reading - haven't been able to work out the downlaod thing thus far!
Patsy 01-12-2006, 06:03 PM I forgot Trinny & Susannah Undressed, which has now finished I believe.

Those 2 now think they're marriage councellors. Add that to their appallingly bad taste in clothes and I think we're all doomed, I say, we're all dooomed.
Coastie 01-12-2006, 06:52 PM I forgot X-Factor...but I'm not worried about watching it on the night...I'll tape it or watch a repeat quite happily!
TE...I am just waiting for Without a Trace season 4 to come out on DVD now....
oh and counting the days before Prison Break returns.
My fave prog at the moment though has to be The State Within...my goodness that Jason Isaacs is sexy!
Coastie 08-04-2007, 03:27 AM So...I am enjoying an influx of fabulous programming from America at the moment:
Prison Break
Smith
Shark
Without a Trace:good:
and on occasion:
ER
NCIS
Has to be said I have been disappointed by British contributions lately...
Seabreeze 08-04-2007, 07:07 AM Prison Break
Desperate Housewives
Kidnapped
Dr Who
Life on Mars
City Lights
Heros
Day Break
Hotel Babylon
I will admit to it being hard to keep up with them all
Bonsai 08-04-2007, 08:43 AM For me its:-
Life on Mars
Desperate Housewives (although i missed last weeks ... grrrr)
Prison Break
Heros
Ugly Betty
Nothing else matters
Coastie 09-04-2007, 02:11 AM What's Heros?
Since both SB and Bon Bon are watching I feel maybe I should be...:bag:
Seabreeze 09-04-2007, 05:56 AM http://www.scifi.com/heroes/
All about different people from all over the world (but mainly USA) who have all developed different powers and are all starting to join together to save the world.

Bonsai 10-04-2007, 08:42 AM Life on Mars -can barely wait for tomorrow night!!
Im excited too, but also a little sad. I dont want it to end
Seabreeze 10-04-2007, 08:45 AM Yes I can`t wait to see how they finish this. I`m glad it`s ending, although I love the programme I think it`s in danger of losing it`s edge if there was a 3rd series. They are expecting top viewing figures tonight
Fee For All 10-04-2007, 10:04 AM Apparently they're dong another series with Gene, based in the 80s. Ashes to Ashes it's called. I have a feeling it won't be so good.
Fee For All 10-04-2007, 09:17 PM What the ????
I'm still trying to work out how then he knew so much about the future http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y118/FenellaFinkelstein/smiley/doh13.gif
And I didn't half jump when the testcard girl appeared at his door!
Seabreeze 11-04-2007, 05:33 AM That`s the part I can`t work out. The message they were getting across was that he didn`t feel anything in the future so it wasn`t real but how did he know about Marc Bolans car crash, PC terminals the IRA and loads of other stuff.
Bonsai 11-04-2007, 08:29 AM I dont care that there are a few questions marks in my brain - i loved every single second of Life on Mars last night.
Absolutely stunning TV. I will miss it
Coastie 25-04-2007, 04:33 AM Started watching 'The Contender - US vs UK' - unfortunately, once again, there is nothing to enjoy bar the fight itself so the show could simply be 30mins long rather than an hour...but geez what a couple of fights already...ouch...it's 1-1 at the moment with the winning team collecting the 'Sugar Ray Leonard Cup'!:w00t:
Andrea 08-05-2007, 10:00 PM Well I'm watching 24, of course, and have got back into watching Lost.
HIGNFY on a Friday night.
Was watching and loving Al Murrays Saturday show, 'Pint of beer for the gent and a glass of white wine or a fruit based drink for the lady!', Brilliant show.
Other than that, not alot really.
Load of old rubbish if you ask me.
I am mostly watching.........
The Apprentice (im torn tonight - what'll it be, Sir Al or BB!??!?!)
Holby City - Im addicted!
Emmerdale - got right back into that since living on my own again....
Ugly Betty - easy watching and easy to pick up if you miss one...
QI - i usually get a good laugh out of this.....
Coastie 31-05-2007, 07:22 AM Nip/Tuck is on a Freeview channel at the mo so enjoying that again...if enjoying is the right word...it really is compulsive repulsive viewing!
They are re-running 'The State Within' all next week on BBC4...
House is on at 1230 everyday on 5 so I'm watching re-runs of that as well as still enjoying season 3 which is the best yet! - Can't belive how they left it last week!:shocking:
Shark is waning slightly...
The F Word is becoming a bit repeatative...
Given up on 'The Contender UK vs US'
Prison Break ends in two weeks...eeek!
Without a Trace is still fabtastic!
Andrea 31-05-2007, 11:36 PM Have to watch Hustle every week now, lurve it!
Have recently started watching the apprentice, I know, I know, it's nearly finished but how great were they all on the shopping channel!
And the friday night project is back on tomorrow, hurrah!:applause:

Coastie 11-06-2007, 07:34 PM Killer Instinct with Johnny 'phwoooar' Messner on a Sunday night 2300 ch5 is my latest pleasure...it's been around a while but is always on soooo late that I kept missing it but the new series started last week and I am hooked! Gotta love those serial killers!
Angelas Eyes started well then I lost interest!
Vanished on a Sunday night is rather good though...so far...although the daughter was very frustrating in last nights episode...why she didn't just call the FBI straight off I don't know....dozey bint!
Bonsai 12-06-2007, 08:08 AM Nope...not getting that one Bon Bon!
