My team - Aberdeen are in second place in the SPL at the moment - probably won't last - but I'm going to enjoy it while I can!!!

Preston North End third in Championship... pretty good, but we were 1st not so long ago! Not been to a home game for a couple of months so looking forward to Saturday vs. Colchester. Went to watch us against Birmingham in Birmingham a couple of weeks ago, good game, but we lost 3-1.
Coastie 19-12-2006, 12:57 PM Pompey are doing exceptionally well this season and if they carry on the way their going could be going to Europe...it's amazing...I never thought I'd see the day! :w00t: :good:
Coastie 31-12-2006, 11:52 AM Still staying up there dispite the odd drop in form...c'mon Pompey! :yahoo:
tim_bucks 05-01-2007, 09:49 AM Hmm...
I follow Forest and Oxford and their fortunes are intertwined - both storm away at the start of the season, and over Christmas come to a juddering halt and now neither are top. C'est la vie...
Well, being good friends with Leicester, Reading, Bristol City and Morecambe fans, I'm quite against Forest and Oxford at mo. Good win against Charlton!
Through to 4th round of FA Cup only to play Palace again! No disrespect to Palace (and I'm sure they feel exactly the same about us) but COME ON! How can we both get to the 4th round 2 years running to get such a crap draw... their turn to go through... really wouldn't be arsed if we got beat... just extra games that we don't need. Only ever get drawn against boring teams anyway!
Lost to Derby in last league game, first defeat at home for years! (It was 2005 when we last lost a league game at home!) Was sort of deserved, though the foul from which they won their penalty was outside the box! Billy Davies may be a w*nker but he's a damn good manager!
Got Barnsley on Saturday... away! Got a good 1-0 win earlier in the season at home, but I'm expecting a draw. They're a good, strong side, and I doubt we'll have much to cheer about other than a boring 0-0 or possibly 1-1 if we're lucky!
Still 3rd but don't think it'll last long.... hopefully we'll get a play-off place, but maybe that's just false hope!
tigger 12-01-2007, 11:38 AM Just don't even ask. :wallbash:

Are you a west ham supporter?
Shameful isn't it....:bag:
jennyd1 13-01-2007, 02:23 PM I'm a sheffield wednesday fan so enough said at the moment
Hull City, appalling start, but new manager is starting to turn things around, and we are out of the relegation zone, but currently losing to QPR so we aren't safe yet!
Haydon 14-01-2007, 10:00 AM TOP of the league!
We are.... top of the league... top of the league.
4 points clear. 2 games in hand. :) :)
tigger 14-01-2007, 11:33 AM Are you a west ham supporter?
Shameful isn't it....:bag:
T'is very shameful.:(
jennyd1 14-01-2007, 03:31 PM it wouldn't be worth writing about if i was to support my true home team as they're only like a sunday league side.
Coastie 26-01-2007, 08:00 PM Pompey have got Man U in the 4th round of the FA cup tomorrow...eeek! I hope Pompey put on a good show! :good:
tigger 31-01-2007, 08:15 AM West Ham lost again last night.:bag: Least they scored a goal though.
It makes me want to cry, it really does.

Fee For All 10-02-2007, 09:58 PM I blame Danielle :glare:
*sniggers*
Leeds away on Friday... never been to Elland Road before, gonna be scary!
Picked up a good few wins recently (not all deserved- but we're getting better) Hate Leeds.
Got quite a few of the bottom teams coming up, all scrapping for points... not gonna be easy!

Good luck for Friday Fly
I went to Elland Road back in 82/83 and it snowed!

Wayne who? Johnson....? Nah! Just play Nuge, 1 game, 1 goal... fantastic long range effort, heh! Let's have more of that on Friday night (and less of Healy's great international form!)
Lost tonight...
Got beaten all over the park...
Leeds pretty much deserved their victory!
I am very disappointed in Celtic right now - they're doing sh.ite! :wallbash:
Went down to Loftus Road on Tuesday... absolute pile of sh*t!!!
Had our only chance in the first half, then spent the remaining 89 minutes losing the ball and kicking it long... horrible to watch!
(Meant first minute in last post, not first half!)
"Played" Palace on Saturday... what a joke... Southend next... not looking forward to it!
Coastie 09-04-2007, 05:05 AM Pompey beat Man U yesterday...er Saturday...I'm so happy! :applause:
Not anymore, eh!?
Absolutely fed up with North End at the moment... lost 5 out of 6 with 4 defeats to teams in the bottom 6... if we'd just carried on scrapping out results couple of wins, couple of draws we'd be top 2 now, not having our play off place threatened...
If we do make play offs we don't deserve it and would get absolutely thrashed!
Fly, what are Preston doing? All they had to do was beat Southend, and Hull City would be in a much better position, and you go and throw it all away!
Last week we looked out of trouble, now we are right back in at the deep end.
It's going to be a very very nervous end to the season! :shocking:
I think we lost to you and then realised it'd be an unfair advantage to you... so we decided to lose to every other bottom six team as well!
Barnsley are the only bottom six side who haven't beaten us this season...!
Would like Luton and Leeds to go down...
Think (*hope*) Luton have already gone. They seem to be in freefall.
So that leaves two of Barnsley, Southend, Leeds, Us and maybe QPR.
It's very tight!
Haydon 15-04-2007, 08:39 PM My team, Whitstable Town, lifted the Kent Senior Trophy today! Woohoo! I was there. We beat Bearsted 1-0 at the environmentally friendly Dartford stadium.
We're in the final of another cup (KL Premier Division Cup) and we're still top of the league - our treble is in reach!
Fee For All 15-04-2007, 09:43 PM Dartford? You weren't driving a Mondeo at 50mph on the M25 were you?:ninja:
Baaaack on T - we beat M'Bro 3-1. Yay!
Haydon 16-04-2007, 06:38 PM It wasn't me. I was on a coach sitting next to the world's most annoying kid. I don't drive a Mondeo - I've got a boy racer Astra SRI (complete with spoiler).
Woo hoo! We won the Scottish Premier League title again on Sunday! :yahoo:
Patsy 24-04-2007, 07:47 PM Aha! That explains a lot.
Aha! That explains a lot.
Why? Have you been wondering why your friend from Newton Mearns was too drunk to talk to you on Sunday night? :wink2:

CHAV :bag:
Haydon 25-04-2007, 09:28 PM CHAMPIONS!! Whitstable win the Kent League!! So that's the double done, one more Cup needed for the treble! May 5th
Come on yoooouuu reds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fee For All 25-04-2007, 09:52 PM I never knew there were 11 men in Whitstable.
Patsy 26-04-2007, 10:30 AM Why? Have you been wondering why your friend from Newton Mearns was too drunk to talk to you on Sunday night? :wink2:
I don't have any friends in Newton Mearns. :)
Bonsai 26-04-2007, 12:58 PM I don't have any friends
No ???? Bummer
Fee For All 26-04-2007, 08:12 PM Is it OK admit to living in Newton Mearns these days?
Please can everybodies thoughts be with Hull City for the next two weeks.
2 games left, 1 point off the relegation places.
Win both, we're safe
Lose both and Leeds win one or draw two, we're down
Draw both, and Leeds win and draw or win, we're down
Win one and Leeds have to win both to stay up.
I've been thinking about the possibilities for waaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyy too long!
COME ON TIGERS!
Patsy 27-04-2007, 10:18 AM Please can everybodies thoughts be with Hull City for the next two weeks.
Yeah, whatever.
I've never been, Fee. What's it like?
Fee For All 28-04-2007, 12:04 AM Far too posh for the likes of us, Patsy.
Back on T. Any guesses for the score tomorrow, Pats?
Patsy 28-04-2007, 01:45 PM My oracle informs me that they never win at Main Road.
I'll plump for a 1-1.
Fee For All 28-04-2007, 03:44 PM Carew and Maloney. Better than the oracle.
...so far...
Fee For All 28-04-2007, 04:07 PM 2-0 http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y118/FenellaFinkelstein/smiley/celb6.gif
Patsy 29-04-2007, 08:52 AM I know! Who would have thought it?
Now, back to real footie. The Ar$e are playing Fulham today at The Emirates.
(I'm struggling to come up with a joke about The Ar$e and Cottage-ing).
2-0 to Arsenal.
Thanks everybody who bothered (i.e no-one! :))
You'll all be pleased to be informed that Hull City are practically safe from relegation.
Adieu
Mr Boombastic 19-05-2007, 09:53 PM Dunfermline fan - rollercoaster ride at the moment, just got relegated but have the Scottish Cup final next week and Europe next season to look forward to
Fee For All 19-05-2007, 09:55 PM Just beat Celtic. OK?
Mr Boombastic 19-05-2007, 10:07 PM thats the plan mate, give that wee ginger freak Lennon a right good send off. Wind him up for 90, see him blowing out his ass and us winning 1-0, our name is on that cup. Latvia in the uefa 1st round awaits - who cares. I have my ticket for next week, taking my wee 5 yr old son with me. It may be the only time EVER he sees us in a final!
Aberdeen win against Rangers - we finish the season in third place - and we're in Europe next sesason
:yahoo::wine::yahoo::wine::gunsmilie
Mr Boombastic 24-05-2007, 07:30 PM 2 more sleeps till the cup final, believe!
Mr Boombastic 25-05-2007, 09:29 PM Having a couple of beers tonite to knock myself out so that I can sleep before the big game 2moro. The Scottish Cup Final Dunfermline v Celtic. As a lifelong fan of the obvious underdogs, Dunfermline I cant sleep thinking of how the town will be jumping at night if we actually do it.
I am taking my 5 yr old son to his first final and hope we have a fab day. If we win, he will be taken home a happy young chappy and then I will be out on the bender of all benders.
Come on people, pass all your positive energy in the direction of Fife, Scotland 2moro and will the Pars to victory!!
Fee For All 25-05-2007, 09:41 PM I'll be sending positive thoughts up your way :good:
Mr Boombastic 27-05-2007, 09:08 PM So close, crossbar, the better team lost it, you name it, every football cliche under the sun. Proud as **** but defeat still left me and boy on a massive downer. A Happy Meal on the way home soon picked him up, but unfortunately a McChicken Sandwich meal did not work for me nor did the 4 bottles of beer and 2 Malts at night either. Ah well, onwards and downwards!
Fee For All 27-05-2007, 09:13 PM never mind. There's still pacman
Mr Boombastic 27-05-2007, 09:24 PM Ah, but I have been challenged by another to take up snake, how annoyingly addictive is that!
Great to see the Bhoys winning the cup - but I have to admit, Dunfermline were the better team on the day.
Well, West Ham are still in the premiership somehow.....
Mr B was very happy....and I mean VERY VERY happy....
Andrea 31-05-2007, 11:38 PM SEA....SEA.....SEASIDERS!
SEA.......SEA............SEASIDERS!
I've got to get in practise for when we move up there!
