Possible Kerry Mc Whateverhernameis, the lardy lump stuffing her face with Iceland pies, makes me feel like emigrating.

As far as Christmas adverts go I have to agree with SF, Kerry Lardarse, stuffing chocolate profiteroles down her fat neck.

But for normal adverts.....the Picture It loans ones....ALL of them

The new Coca-Cola advert with the woman and Santa through the ages. She grows up and he just looks like a freaky dummy.

Anything featuring that skutter, Kerry Katona.

And I agree Patsy, the coca cola Santa has a scary mask for a face!

The Argos one is annoying too, with the dad jumping from star to star? No idea why, it just irritates me.

All the CDs by has-beens or wannabes that they keep plugging because they think people will buy anything at Christmas.

I'm possibly in the minority here, especially as their sales seem boosted by them, but I can't stand the M&S food ads. The ones with the breathless female voice trying to sound sexy and mouthwatering at the same time, it's so - contrived! These are not just mince pies, they are M&S organically reared gold-plated once-in-a-lifetime sumptuously wrapped orgasmic mince pies. Give me Iceland, please!

I like the M & S one with Shirley Bassey singing the Pink song but agree about Kerry Katona, especially the one when her kid comes on the stage singing - I want to ram those prawn rings down his scrawny little neck whilst ringing Kerry Katona's!

I watched four perfume adverts in a row during three commercial breaks the other day...:shocking: I hate that french one with the sailor and woman...Jean Goatier (can't spell it...wouldn't by it) and the one wher the woman is having her palm read...in fact I hate all perfume ads!

The coke one is dull...the Kerry Iceland one is cack and the H.Samuel one is wearing thin.

I think the Cathy Kitson mobile phone one is sick...sorry but they humanise a mobile phone and then kill them in saddistic fashion...freezer, grass cutter, drowing in the bar...very sick and disturbing! I want to SAVE THE PHONES...BLESS 'EM!

Dol...that Argos one makes me want to get a star and take it into Argos and tell them to turn it into my dream gift...for free of course given as the guy in the ad doesn't pay does he?!

Thanks for letting me know though Coastie, Ill know when to pop to the loo in the cinema when it comes on.

Now the Christmas ones are over for another year, we have the annoying sales ones - DFS - and the "Iam the one and only" song being played over and over again is doing my ed it, its enough to drive you to drink!!!!:humbug:

....... I hate the slimfast/weight watchers/special K ones that appear the very MOMENT Christmas is over, just as if they cant bear the thought of anyone actually enjoying food.

It irritates me every year too, that these ads only ever feature women.

Oh and if I hear that bloody Currys advert ONCE more where the bloke shouts "Oiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!!!!!" loud enough to make you jump and then starts singing Electric Avenue, Ill scream until my throat bleeds.

Can I join the 'sad' brigade as well. It's the best gadget in the living room.

I'm sure when I was whizzing through an advert break I saw Michael Winner pop up. If he's back doing the esure adverts that becomes the worst.

The Orange ones with the wind-up toy are a pain as well.

Love the Sony one in Glasgow though

They must do because they always seem full when you drive past.

The SCS ones are worse and they have that smarmy one from Eastenders in it.

I hate nearly all Christmas adverts - they're so cheesy. But the post-Christmas are just boring. Too dull even to loathe them. 90% of all adverts in January are advertising Sales, weight loss or stopping smoking.

We used to have some brilliantly funny adverts in the UK years ago. Where have they all gone?

I am part of the sad brigade too then, agree that it is the best gadget in the house, not just the living room.

Today, an ad, meant to be real people, in the street invited to 'just talk' to a sympathetic bloke - there's laughter, and tears, the tears that come are wiped away with - Kleenex.

Anyone seen it? Isn't it simply ... (can't think of a word to describe it it's beyond awful) . And the nerve of trying to make it look 'real' as if anyone would buy that!!

You now that T-Mobile - Flex advert...the one where the bloke jumps from a balcony and bounces on flexible paving slabs...well...that one makes me cringe...I just think it's bad taste having someone leap from a balcony even if they are going to bounce gently to their feet...the rest of the advert is pretty cool but that first bit is well...disturbing!

I am bored to the teeth with the 118 guys...please shoot them somebodty pleeeeeeeeease!

I am ashamed to admit I bought my new sofas at DFS...how many more sales can one store have....

Start of season sale
Mid season sale
End of Season sale
New season sale
and so it goes on...is there ever a time when they don't have a sale?

Bonsai

I know you are supposed to cringe at this one .... but the anti alcohol (or whatever it is) is horrid.

It shows a woman on her hen night, and she accidentally lets her balloons go - which land in scaffolding around a building. It shows an 'action hero' come up behind her and say he will get the balloons. He leaps from place to place on the scaffolding, trips and falls to the ground. It then shows he isnt an action hero, but a normal man who was so drunk he thought he was invincible.

It makes me want to cover my face with a cushion. I suppose it gets the message across, but i dont always want graffic adverts when im eating my tea !!

That one really annoys me...Also do you notice how good the drawing is that he 'supposedly' slips beneath the door to indicate his problem...they is now way a kid of that age could draw so accurately and he would have had to step off from the loo to slip his note beneath the door so giving himself pooey scuff marks on his inner butt cheeks...so much wrong with tha advert!

I also hate the Oust one...mainly because it's on at least 500 times a day!

Really hate the amount of Loan company adverts...It's no wonder so many people are in debt with the amount of people willing to throw good money after bad!
