Did anyone watch this? About the autistic child with the puppy?

I really looked forward to it, but was quite disappointed - it was all a bit too miraculous for my liking. Watched it with the neighbour who has an autistic child and she said right from the start that she though the mother was making the situation worse.

Slow start but I thought it was quite good once they got the puppy. Not something the rest of the family would have watched though
