**************ABRIDGE VERSION 11********************

Col. Andy aka Survivor, is falling to earth having had to eject from his aircarft. The Beast Master is angry at the fact that Witchie is now toast as a result of Survivors bombing run and is out to exact revenge in full. Capt. Suzi, PJ and Lt. Rob (with his broken anklle) are scurrying towards the area in which Survivor will fall......will they get there before the Beast Master?.....dum dum dum......

The fate of Capt. Minklemar, Lt. Haydon and their few remaining troops is undetermined at this time after Survivor dropped his bombs on their location at the request of a very soon to be defeated Capt. Minklemar.

Andrea having made he move on Liam is now stood aghast as she watches the drama unfolding less than a mile away. Liam, Maxine and Secrets are also peering on in horror!

Pvt. Pandora has put her war face on and is preparing to kick some butt.....Dr. Marmoset is ensuring Nurse Stilleto knows what to do as the casualties are brought in.

Coastie is still to busy dunking her biscuits in her tea to be bothered to get involved in any of it!

THE NEXT BIT....

Survivor crashes through the tree tops and finds himself dangling by his shoot six feet from the ground, his entire body aching from the shock of the ejection. Slightly dazed he scans his surroundings from his elevated position. Seeing nothing he goes to release himself from his harness. As his hand clasps the release mechanism he hears a noise behind him and freezes.

Pvt. Pandora sprints across the runway and heads out of the main gate and off in the direction of her fallen commander.

**************************************************

Liam, Maxine, Secrets and Andrea watch as Pandora disappears from view. 'Do you think maybe we should see if we can get some weapons?' asks Liam tentatively.

'No, we'll be fine here!' assures Maxine, her stomache churning in nervous anticipation.

'Blow that' says Secrets 'I'm off to fetch a bit of protection!'.

Andrea watches Secrets leave before heading over to the bar. She steps behind and ducks from view. Liam and Maxine appear shocked as Andrea stands up with a smile bigger than a cheshire cat armed with a 12 bore shotgun. 'Secrets is right, this may come in handy' she says working the action of the gun before retrieving some shells from below the counter.

'Hooooookay' says Liam now holding Maxines hand as they draw shoulder to shoulder.

Oooh, I'm all excited, I've got a shotgun, I've got a shotgun :D

Heaven help us all :shock:

Oh Bum I've missed a lot. Did you save it from the old site Coastie?

And did I ever get a part, you know... a walk on role perhaps, a teeny weeny little cameo, the person at the back in the epic crowd scene (becomes increasingly desperate), the neighbour's dog walker, the neighbour's dog walker's mother, the neighbour's dog walker's mother's friend, the neighbour's dog walker's mother's friend's auntie in Australia...?

I'm not fussy, I'll do anything :ohmy:

Survivor slowly looks over his shoulder. 'Colonel Andy is that you?' asks a familiar voice.

'Lieutenant Haydon, jeez am I glad to hear your voice!' replies a relieved Survivor 'Now any chance you can help me down?'

'Sure'

With that Lt. Haydon made his way round to the front of Col. Andy and started to figure out how he could assist his leader.

'Anyone else make it out?' asks Andy whilst he waits for Haydon to come up with a plan.

'No. Capt. Minklemar was taken by the dogs as your shells hit and the rest of them well. You did good sir, none of those beast have survived as far as I know' replied Haydon.

Capt. Suzi is the first to make it to the top of a steep bank and as she pops her head over the top she is greeted by a pair of ugly gnarled feet and the sound of rasping breath from above. Slowly she raises her head and sees the face of the Beast Master.

'You!' gasps Capt. Suzi in suprise, before she can go any further the Beast Master snarls and grabs Capt. Suzi by her hair. Capt. Suzi yells 'No get off of me!' and starts to fight back.

PJ and Lt. Rob quicken their ascent at the sound of Cat. Suzies distress and are horrified by what they see.

Pvt. Pandora double times it along the road towards the place where Capt. Minklemar and her squad made their last stand.

Dr. Marmoset checks her equipment again as it sits waiting patiently in the sterilised tray.

'How long before we know anything?' asks Nurse Sylvia Stilletoes.

'Lord knows, we just have to be prepared for the minute we do'.

Secrets strolls back into Andrea's bar to find her explaining the actions of a shotgun to Liam and Maxine. He's carrying an identical weapon as well as old colt six shooter in a leather holster.

'You all ready to kick some if and when they come?' he drawls.

Andrea looks up, face determined 'Yep, we are more than ready' she replies although Liam doesn't look so sure and Maxine just stares at Andrea, distrust ever evident.

'I'ts no good sir, you're gonna have to drop!' says Lt. Haydon of the dangling Col. Andy.

'I knew it' comes the resigned response and with that Survivor unbuckles his harness and falls to the ground with a grunt.

Lt. Haydon is quick to his assistance and other than the assured likely hood that the Colonel will be covered in bruises come the morning, everything else seems fine.

'Right lets get the hell out of here!' puffs Survivor getting to his feet.

'Yes sir, let's go!'

The Beast Master slices away at Capt. Suzies brow with a razor sharp nail and within seconds she holds up her captives scalp with glee and squeals in triumph as Capt. Suzi bleeds to death at her feet. Looking up the Beast Master catches sight of a rapidly retreating Lt. Rob and PJ.

PJ struggles to almost carry the injured Lt. Rob across the highly uneven ground not daring to look back even for the slightest moment dispite sensing that not their days but minutes are surely number.

Pvt. Pandora enters the charred area of forest and her senses are immediately brought to extreme alert as the smell of burnt flesh invades her nostrils. So suddenly does the reality of what she might see hit her that without any further warning she vomits.

Lt. Haydon and Col. Andy move quickly back in the general direction of the base. Lt. Haydon still has his rifle but only 6 bullets left where as Col. Andy has only his service revolver drawn to ward off any beasts that might cross their path.

Andre and Secrets are about to go outside when there is a loud thump on the outer door. They back off and watch as the door starts to bow inwards as a result of repeated effort from whatever it is that is trying to get in. Andrea looks Secrets straight in the eye. 'You ready?'

'Ho yeah' replies Secrets as the pair of them pump a round into the chamber and take aim at the door.

Maxine and Liam decide quickly that the safest place to be is behind the pair of armed bar tenders and quickly move to a position suited to this thought.

PJ and Lt. Rob stumble and Lt. Rob looks to PJ grabbing him tightly 'Leave me here and get the heck out!' says Lt. Rob. PJ is about to object when suddenly Lt. Rob is hoisted away. PJ looks up in horror into the face of the Beast Master. 'You!' he shudders.

Lt. Rob legs dangling as the Beast Master holds him by the scruff of the neck tries desperately to fight of his attacker before repeating his command to PJ 'Go PJ, get the heck out of here....run!'. PJ doesn't need a third order as the sight of the Beast Master plunging a hand into the chest of his lieutenent is enough to spur him into action.

Lt. Rob looks at his heart in horror as the Beast Master holds it before him. A few moments passes as the last of the blood drains from his body and his brain becomes starved of oxygen and then he falls completely limp.

Looking down at Lt. Rob's corpse the Beast Master smiles and takes a bite out of the human heart before throwing down the rest and heading off in hot pursuit of a terrified PJ.

Pvt. Pandora reaches the centre of the battle field. Almost like sculptures on a saddists lawn, black and deep brown corpses of both man and beast stand, sit and lie as grotesque monuments of their last known action. Pvt. Pandora simple pivots slowly round taking in the full and horrible display. A crack of a branch to the rear makes her spin and aim her weapon.

The door starts to crack and splinter as the assault from the outside continues. Andrea and Secrets maintain a steady aim as they wait for what ever it is to get through. Liam holds his breath but suddenly Maxine rushes out from behind the armed pair and starts to drag a table across to the door. The others look at her quizzically and she says 'Well I'm not going to make it easy for them!' as she tips the table in front of the door.

Nurse Sylvia excuses herself and heads for the toilet. She steps out of the surgery and along a corridor. As she passes a door to the outside she notices that the bottom half has been stoved in and that there is a large hole. Unsure what it means she proceeds with caution towards the ladies loo. As she approaches the door she hears a snarling noise from a few feet round the corner.

PJ's heart is in his mouth as he races back towards the base and safety. A large branch blocks his way and without a moments hesitation he dives over it and rolls back onto his feet on the otherside barely breaking his momentum.

The Beast Master glides in hot pursuit.

'What the heck are you doing here?' asks Col. Andy of a visibly nervous Pvt. Pandora.

It takes a moment for Pvt. Pandora to register who it is that has just come out of the trees. The moment she does she relaxes a little and replies. 'I couldn't just sit there any more sir. I had too see for myself what's going on'.

'Well welcome to the party' replies Col. Andy as Lt. Haydon joins him and is equally as shocked to see Pvt. Pandora.

'Yeah and what a party it was' he say's dryly. 'Did you bring a vehicle?'

Pvt. Pandora suddenly feels really stupid as she blushes and replies 'Er no sir I didn't!'.

who is it? Who is it? I'm on the edge on my seat.

and what a team secrets and me make:)

Nurse Sylvia only has a second before her world is sent into darkness and the mighty jaws of a beast wrap around her head and face. Sylvia lets out a short scream but is soon a just a stain on the corridor floor and the beast a fat and satisfied.

Dr. Marmoset on hearing Nurse Syvia's stiffled scream hesitantly starts off in the direction of the noise. She's in time to see the beast finishing the last of Nurse Syvia and so she quickly and quietly retreats back to the surgery. Once there she barrackades the door with all that she can find and sits back in horror and dread as the door begins to shake and a relentless thumping commences.

The door splits from bottom to top and the table jumps forward. Andrea and Secrets take aim as the table moves toward them again then suddenly all goes quiet.

Col. Andy back still sore, struggles to keep up with the younger fitter Lt. Haydon and Pvt. Pandora as the head back to base. His sense of pride refuses to allow him to get the other two to slow down and so instead he grits his teeth in an effort to ride above the pain he's starting to feel.

PJ stumbles and rolls down a bank landing in a small stream. He quickly gets back to his feet and continues his race towards safety.

Andrea and Secrets close in on the table. As they draw within a few feet a beast suddenly leaps at them. Both fire rounds from their shotguns catching the beast full in the face. A matted muddle of hair, bone, blood and brains lands at thier feet. Secrets doesn't take any chances and sends another round of 12 shot into the creatures head.

Liam and Maxine nudge forward, faces white and all four stare down at the hideous creature.

Dr. Marmoset sees the door starting to give. She decides to make a run for it. Opening the window she climbs onto the sill and checks outside. It's clear and so she leaps and runs for all she's worth towards the bar in her hope of finding the others.

She's halfway when the beast runs back out of the building in hot pursuit. Dr. Marmoset screams a warning to anyone who might hear.

The trio make it to the main road and seeing that the vehicles are a total lose they continue without pause. Pvt. Pandora notices Col. Andy wince. 'You okay sir?' she asks.

'Yeah, just a bit achey from the eject!' he replies.

Suddenly PJ leaps into the road in front of them. he;s about to race off down the road when Lt. Hadon calls 'PJ, that you'.

PJ eyes wide in terror turns to see the trio looking back in surprise. 'The Beast Master' he gasps and with that he's off and running again.

The other three don't need any prompting and with adrenaline for fuel they sprint after PJ.

The Beast Master glides out a few metres behind them and laughs. Rasing gnarled hands a chant is uttered as the chase continues.

Maxine runs to the window as she hears Dr. Marmoset yell for help. She sees the doctor racing a shrt distance ahead of another beast.

'It's the doctor.....and another one of them things' she gestures towards the dead beast. Secrets leaps into action and steps outside with Andrea close behind.

Secrets takes aim and as Dr. Marmoset races past him and into the building he fires but the beast dodges and knocks him to the ground it's mouth quickly around the stricken mans face.

Screaming Andrea opens up and sends three rounds into the beasts body but it barely even flinches.

Instinctively Secrets reaches for his Colt pulls it from his belt and shots the beast in the head just as the jaws crush his skull.

The beast collapses, jaws locked in Secrets head. Andrea rushes forward and puts another round into the beasts head before grabbing Secrets guns and retreating back inside. She finds the other huddled together by the bar.

'Let's get this door blocked!' orders Andrea.

'But what about Secrets?' asks Liam.

'He didn't make it' replies Andrea matter of factly.

Col. Andy is quickly left behind by the other three his body feeling like it's in a vice. The Beast Master bears down upon him. It's about to lunge when Pvt. Pandora, who has raced back to help her leader, fires a round into the cloacked chest. The Beast Master falls to the floor.

'Thank-you' puffs Col. Andy as Pvt. Pandora pushes him after the others.

'No problem sir'.

PJ is the first to reach the gates to the base and he is about to head to his quarters when he hears a yell from the bar. He looks across to see Liam, Maxine and Dr. Marmoset all yelling from the window of the bar. He quickly diverts course and heads in that direction.

Sylvia lets out a short scream but is soon a just a stain on the corridor floor and the beast a fat and satisfied...

At least it covered the stain that PJ and Andrea left on the corridor floor.

Aww shucks Secrets, you'll always be my hero.

Andrea, Liam, Maxine and Dr. Marmoset quickly clear the door way just in time for PJ to come bursting in. he trips and rolls on the floor before turning back to the door to join the others now yelling for Pvt. Pandora, Col. Andy and Lt. Haydon to run in their direction.

Lt. Haydon is a few yards out when he looks back over his shoulder, for the first time, too see Pvt. Pandora and Col. Andy stumbling through the gate behind him. He stops spins and runs back to help. As he gets to them his jaw drops and his eyes are al;most poped from his head as he sees what's coming up the road behind them.

Quickly he regains control and grabs Col. Andy and between him and Pvt. Pandora they almost carry him towards the bar.

'Come on!' the occupants of the bar yell before suddenly entering a stunned silence as they catch their first glimpse of what had just terrified Lt. Haydon.

'Oh my.....' gasps PJ.

Lt. Haydon stumbles pulling Col. Andy and Pvt. Pandora down with him. The trio gasp in horror as the frantically pick themselves up. Lt. Haydon rolls and screams.

PJ sprints out from the bar with the shotgun. He fires one shot in the direction of his comrades. There's a loud shriek.

Pvt. Pandora drags Col. Andy behind her and they rush past PJ who fires again as Lt. Haydon screams again.

Andrea grabs Col. Andy as he and Pvt. Pandora stumble to the door. Dr. Marmoset quickly shuts the door behind the pair as they both fall to the floor there lungs feeling as if their on fire.

Pvt. Pandora suddenly looks around. 'PJ, Lt. Haydon....I've got to help them!' She stuggles to her feet and goes to the door. Swinging it open she screams 'Nooooooooo!'

Standing tall and clothed entirely in black the Beast Master is holding Lt. Haydon, at arms length, above the ground, by his throat.

PJ reloads and takes aim, but he can't get a clear shot of the Beast Master past the hanging body of Lt. Haydon.

The Beast Master, using Lt. Haydon as a shield advances towards PJ who maintaining aim, starts to step back towards the bar.

Andrea throws the revolver to Pvt. Pandora who checks the number of rounds left. 'Three...bullets...do we have anymore?' she pleads.

'No that's it' replies Andrea, 'And we only have another two shots for the other shotgun'.

Lt. Haydons body goes limp as his body uses up the last bit of oxygen contained in his body. The Beast Master shakes him like a rag doll before casting him aside. At that instant PJ fires his gun but is amazed to see the Beast Master raise a hand and catch the shot before throwing it back at PJ.

PJ yells, turns and runs.

Pvt. Pandora is about to step outside when PJ falls at her feet, blood oozing down the back of his neck from a series of tiny holes in the back of his head. She screams, backs up and shuts the door.

The others are horrified by the look of shock on Pvt. Pandoras face and then shrink back as the door starts to bow inwards and loud shriek belts forth from the outside.

Col. Andy takes the colt revolver and stands alongside Pvt. Pandora who has turned to face the door.

The shrill noice grows louder and louder and the door creeks and bows closer and closer to the remaining six terrified persons.

Quoting from Gladiator Col. Andy say's 'Whatever comes through that door we stand a better chance if we stick together!'

The others huddle in and then Liam in a flash of inspiration grabs a bar stool to use as a weapon. Maxine and Dr. Marmoset and Andrea follow suit and the six stand waiting.

Ooooh Coastie, you've got me leant right into the screen to read this.

Come on, we can't let Haydon die, surely:ohmy:

The Beast Master, using Lt. Haydon as a shield advances towards PJ who maintaining aim, starts to step back towards the bar.

I'm with you there PJ, if Haydon can't be saved, let's at least have a drink in his memory. :)

Don't worry Andrea, the Beast Master can catch bullets with his bare hands, but Liam has a bar stool, so H is in with a fighting chance. If that doesn't work, suggest you grab that dish of peanuts on the bar and throw them at him. :)

This is building up to a thrilling climax Coastie. It's got more bood and gore than an Rambo movie, more deaths than all the Arnie movies put together, it's a hit.

The door starts to split and the six prepare their weapons, the shriek making it hard for them to stay focused as it resonates through their brains.

Crash...the door gives way and Col. Andy and Pvt. Pandora open fire as a black figure fills the hole. One bullet zings of the door frame, two others are caught in the hands of the Beast Master but two of the bullets carve a path into the body of the figure. It shrieks, falls back two paces then hurls the two captured rounds back into the building. The tiny shot from the shot gun spreads and strikes Col. Andy in the right arm, Pvt. Pandora across her stomache and left arm and Andrea across the left thigh. All three drop to the floor in agony.

Liam throws his stool at the Beast Master and runs to the bar leaping it and ducking below. Maxine hesitates a milliseconds before following suit.

The Beast Master staggers back through the door way and snarls down at the three prostrate figures as they attempt to crawl away.

Liam looks to Maxine and then beneath the bar for anything that might be of use. Maxine suddenly grabs his arm and shakes a box of matches at him. He nods understanding before grabbing a couple of dishcloths and several bottles of spirits.

Col. Andy and Andrea manage to put the most distance between them and the Beast Master who reaches down and grabs Pvt. Pandora by the leg. Pvt. Pandora screams. Dr. Marmoset steps up and swings her bar stool at the Beast Master but the wood simply splinters and the stoll falls apart in her hands as the Beast Master laughs at her attempt. Panicked Dr. Marmoset turns to flee but the Beast Master simply holds Pvt. Pandora in one hand and grabs Dr. Marmoset with the other. It holds the pair at arms length at either side in a crucifix stance, and starts to chant.

Dr. Marmoset and Pvt. Pandora start to writh in pain and scream as their skin starts to become scaley and their arms and legs like pigs trotters. Their faces scrunch up and snouts start to form.

Col. Andy and Andrea continue to crawl away towards the bar. Col. Andy gets there first and is about to stand up and leap over when Liam and Maxine pop up from behind it with blazing spirit bottles in their hands. 'Now!' yells Maxine and the pair lob the bottles at the Beast Master.

Liams hit's the Beast Master mid torso and bounces back before smashing on the floor and bursting into flames. Maxines falls just short and smashes sending a flash of flame up the front of the Beast Master. It screams and drops Dr. Marmoset and Pvt. Pandora, mid-transformation, into the pool of flame growing rapidly around it.

Col. Andy gets behind the bar and Andrea is quick to follow. They grab more bottles and quickly all four of them are armed with lighted bottles of spirits. The Beast Master is squealing like a pig and to add to it's disturbing noise Dr. Marmoset and Pvt. Pandora are also writhing in pain and screaming in agony as their flesh becomes blistered and starts to burn away.

'Right we throw these then make a run for the officers bar' orders Col. Andy. The others nod agreement. 'Now!' they all throw their weapons of Jack Daniels, Vodka, Famous Grouse and Navy Rum and run for the door adjoining the other bar.

The Beast Master is now full aflame and shrieking in such a high pitch that Andrea feels a pop and extreme pain as her ear drum bursts. 'Aaaah' she cries as the foursome run through the door and slam it shut behind them.

'Oh dear' say's Col Andy as they enter the Officers Bar. The others respond first by looking where he's looking and then by saying. 'Uh-oh'. An injured Beast is rocking and snarling in the corner it's eyes fixed on the four humans who have just disturbed it.

They spread out and start to pick up various weapons of choice. A stool, two pool cues and chair. The beast snarls and then charges at Maxine. She strikes out with her pool cue and cracks it across the face before it manages to bite her. It backs off as the humans start to surround it.

Feeling increasing trapped it lunges again, this time at Andrea who attepts to fend it off with the chair but her injured leg gives way beneath her and she is knocked to the ground. She screams as the beasts jaws gnash inches from her face as she keeps the chair in front of her. The others step up and start assaulting the beast with the cues and the stool, it's a Shaun of the Dead zombie smackdown moment as they beat rythmically at the beasts back and head.

Suddenly the door bursts open and a flaming Beast Master steps into the room.

Col. Andy gives a final smack with the cue and the beasts head splits open and it falls dead just as the others turn to face the beast master.

Andrea struggles to her feet and the four of them prepare to defend themselves from the advancing ball of flame.

Maxine lets out a war cry and runs full on towards the blazing Beast Master her cue held high. As she gets close the Beast Master attempts to fend her off but she ducks and plunges the cue into and out the otherside of the Beast Masters body. Still ablaze the Beast Master falls forward onto Maxine and grabs her in its arms before falling to floor.

Liam shreiks 'Nooooo' and advances with his stool. He beats through the flames and onot the head of the Beast Master.

Col. Andy grabs another bottle of Jack Daniels from behind the bar. creats andother fire bomb and passes the bottle and matches to Andrea. 'When I give the signal use this!' he demands. She nods as Col. Andy grabs a fire extinguisher from the wall.

He quickly arms it and starts to spray the burning bodies. The fire is out in an instant and there is no sign of life as Liam continues to bash the head of the Beast Master with his stool. His eyes filling with tears and his arms growing weaker with every blow.

Col. Andy stops him and they look upon the two dead bodies. Green ooze seeps from the Beast Masters body as Col. Andy kicks it off Maxine who lies a blackened corpse beneath. Liam quickly falls to his knees and takes her in his arms, now sobbing freely. 'Why her, after all she's been through, why?'

Col. Andy looks to Andrea and gives her a signal to relax. She lowers the bottle and the match and closes in as Col. Andy reaches down to the hood of the Beast Masters cape which crumbles as he starts to lift it. 'Who is it?' whispers Andrea into Col. Andy's ear as he uncovers the face of their nemesis.

'Her name is Nox. She used to work for the military at a chemical weapons lab further down the valley. It's closed down now. One day there was an accident and well, lets just say she lost the plot. We all thought she was dead but then strange reports started coming in about wierd creatures running around the woods in this area. The stories became myth and were largely ignored but a few always suspected Nox was out for some kind of revenge. The rest as you say is now history.' Col. Andy takes Andrea in a comforting embrace and then turns to Liam. 'Come on, lets go get some air'.

As they step out into the day light a jet screams over head. They watch it as it turns in a wide arc and makes it's approach onto the runway.

It makes the perfect landing and the trio walk towards it. They reach it as the cockpit opens up.

Col. Andy leaves the others and starts to jog, painfully, towards the jet as he recognises the pilot.

The pilot waves and smiles before climbing out and dropping down and onto the deck just as Col. Andy makes it alongside the plane. 'What took you so long?' Col. Andy smiles as he takes the pilot in a warm embrace.

Coastie removes her flight helmet 'They wouldn't give me a plane to fly, I had to hijack this one'.

'That means your going to be in a whole world of trouble' whispers Col. Andy as they eskimo kiss.

'So spank me' she giggles.

'Oh you are just so naughty' he replies.

They kiss passionately whilst Andrea and Liam watch on more than a little dumbfounded.

Col. Andy breaks the embrace and bekons to Liam and Andrea. 'Hey you two meet my fiance Coastie'. They walk over.

'Hi' says Coastie shaking hands. 'Thanks for looking after my man'.

'No worries' replies Andrea as Liam simply shrugs. The four of them look up as the sound of an approaching helicopter breaks the momentary silence.

'That'll be your ride out of here' says Coastie.

'Thank the lord' sighs Liam.

'Amen to that' closes Andrea as the helicopter touches down and twenty armed men and women disembark and set about checking the area is secure.

Liam and Andrea link arms. 'lets go home' says Liam. They walk away leaving Col. Andy and Coastie cuddled together.

'Weve got a live one here' comes a cry from the outside of the bar. Liam and Andrea turn to Col. Andy who in turn starts to run as fast as he can towards the shout. Coastie hot on his heels. Andrea and Liam also quicken their pace.

As they reach the scene a medic is administering first aid to Lt. Haydon. Lt. Haydon looks wearily up into the anxious faces of Col. Andy, Liam and Andrea and then smiles as he sees Coastie in the mix. 'Hey, it's about time you joined the party'.

'They wouldn't let me play' she sulks.

They all chuckle and Lt. Haydon coughs as he laughs. 'So when is the big day anyway?'

First I must apologise to all the people I have killed and maimed and for all the damage I have done to the countryside. Will you ever forgive me? And I hope the insurance was good on all the things me and my mates caused to explode, run aground or drop out of the air.

I hadn't thought to hire the asbestos version of the beastmaster costume, but I'd just like to set the record straight.

'Now!' they all throw their weapons of Jack Daniels, Vodka, Famous Grouse and Navy Rum and run for the door adjoining the other bar.

Readers, it's reasonable to assume I burnt to my death because Liam and Andrea's aim was uncannily accurate. However, when I saw them lobbing perfectly good bottles of alcohol in my direction, my first instinct was to catch them. It wasn't an easy task I assure you as they were way off target. This proved to be my downfall as I missed one of the flaming sambuccas which is what set me alight.

Also, contrary to popular opinion, the 'accident' with the chemicals did change me, but not in the way you might have expected. It left me strangely beautiful. So beautiful in fact, that I could not walk down the street without people collapsing in awe and fainting at my feet. This was all very well for a while, but soon it began to grate on me as I couldn't have a conversation with anyone without them turning into a blubbering idiot.

The only solution was to hide my face forever which is when I decided to become the Beastmaster.

After escaping to the woods I discovered that there were others like me. People too afraid to venture out of their homes for fear of the paparazzi who shadowed their every move. These people became my trusted friends and they too donned the cloak of the beast.

We decided to get our revenge, by making everyone as beautiful as we were. I concocted a powerful formula from eye of newt, toe of frog and a packet of Aunt Bessie's Yorkshire Puddings. We covered ourselves with the potion so that everyone we touched turned into one of us.

It almost worked. We had done away with the majority of the opposition and there was only a tiny pocket of resistance left for whom I had special plans. I was so close I could smell victory (well I think it was victory - there were a few stains on pants that suggested otherwise) and if it hadn't been for those meddling kids, I would have got away with it.

Bahhh humbug.

====================ABRIDGED BIT======================
It's night time in a forest somewhere out there. Liam, Flip, Scooby, Maxine and mountie are on a camping trip, purpose as yet undefined. Scooby nipped out for a wee and was suprised by Maxine who fancies the pants of him. As they are about to get a little intimate a 'beast' which bears resemlance to the Orcs from LOTR but runs around on all fours, takes a chunk out of Scooby's leg. The others are rudely awakened by the scream of Maxine and the pairs battered reentry into the tent whilst being persued by gnashing teeth.Liam performs high level first aid before acompanying Flip and Mountie, blades draw, to their jeep to try and raise the alarm. They fail as a hill is blocking their signal and find themselves trapped in the jeep by the circling 'beast'. They make a wailing run for it, Mountie stumbles and Flip saves the day by helping him out. The 'beast runs away to lick it's wounds but the group then watch in horror as Scooby takes on a beast like form and runs off into the trees. They are now locked in the jeep and intending to make a break for it as soon as there's enough light.

******************ABRIDGED VERSION - 2************************
Flip, Liam, Mountie and Maxine having spent the night in their jeep, have escaped the gnashing jaws of Scooby and his friend. As they make their escape Scooby is crushed beneath the wheels of the jeep...much to Maxines horror but just as they think their clear they find that there are infact around twenty beasts who can reach speeds of around 30mph and who want their blood. Flips incredible driving skills mean that they are able to evade them right up until the point where under Liams orders they hang a high speed left turn causing Mountie to fall out the rear passenger door. They try to recover him only to find he has already been bitten and so they have to leave him to meet a very gruesome end at the jaws of the beasts and hammer on up a steep hill. Bellies full of Mountie the beasts pursuit slows to a more leisurely trot. Scooby appears back on the scene battered and torn but not dead, and limps up to the skeletal Mountie. Having had a quick lick of the remains he pees over them and follows the others up the hill. On catching up with two fellow beasts because of his battered state they turn on him and before long he too is totally devoured. meanwhile The track has been blocked by a fallen tree and Liams heroic efforts mean that they are now trying to tow the obstruction out of the way whilst under the frenzied attack of the beasts.

Whilst attempting to drag a tree which was blocking their escape route with a rope tied to the jeep, Flip sustained a head injury after the branch snapped off and flew through the windscreen. Liams quick thinking lead to Flip receiving rapid first-aid and being pulled into the back seat so he could reverse the jeep away from the attacking pack of beasts. Maxine stepped up and took knife to beast providing Liam with more time to execute his escape plan. They started well but ran into a ditch. Things were getting intense when suddenly a horn was blown from somewhere in the forest and the beasts responded to it by sprinting to its source 'The Beast Master' a hooded, clocked figure who knows a bit about which craft and mumbo jumbo and lives in a mud and twig hut. Capt. Mellors and Lt. Flyo are on a routine training operation when they see the results of one of the beast masters spells and fly to investigate a plume of smoke and fire. Liam sees the aircraft sweep overhead and alarms the now fairly conscious Flip and hysterical Maxine by stepping out of the vehicle to follow it's progress. Mellors and Flyo arrive at the spot they saw the fire only to find no scorch marks and just a small hut. They are seen by the beast master who is now chanting in their direction as they return to base more than a little confused.

***************ABRIDGED VERSION 4***************
The Beast Master chanted in Mellors and Flyo's general direction after they investigated a bizzare explosion, which resulted from a Beast Masters spell. The chanting was in fact a spell which caused Mellors to lose control of the Puma helicopter he and Flyo were buzzing around in and crash. Mellors now has a tree branch throujgh his side and Flyo's chest is being crushed by another branch through the window. Liam, Maxine and Flip, now reasonably well recovered from her earlier head injury, witnessed the crash and headed out on a mercy mission to save the crew dispite the obvious dangers. The Beast Master with beasts in tow has met up with friend Witchie a red scaled bi-pod who dispises humans and believes they are only good for feeding the beasts. it's pretty clear the pair will be cooking up some mischief soon and that mercy mission may be in peril. Fortunately Flyo was able to put out a Mayday before the crash and Sharky, Belladonna and PJ are whizzing their way to his assistance...in fact they have just located the crash site....in a single engine light aircraft equiped with search equipment. Liam has climbed the tree to the ailing Mellors and Flyo whilst Maxine holds his safety line and Flip keeps guard with her large knife. Liam isn't sure how he'll handle this one yet. Capt. Suzie and Lt. Rob have just departed the army airfield in a second Puma helicopter this time loaded with Lt. Haydon and his squad of nine solidiers being deployed to assist in the recovery of Mellors and Flyo. His second in command is the fiesty Sgt. Maj. Voice and they are ready for action since judging by their armoury they know more than the average bear about what might be out there awaiting them in the forest.

Dispite Liam, Flip and Maxines attempts to save them Capt. Mellors and Lt. Flyo died after their Puma helicopter first crashed into the tree tops and then plummeted to the forest floor. Flyo lost his head, Mellors his innereds. Liam survived thanks to his safety line but he's a little bruised and battered having fallen with the helicopter from the tree tops. Maxine is looking after him as they follow Flip with her trusty knife back to the jeep. Dropped off a kilometre from the crash site by Capt. Suzie and Lt. Rob's Puma Bravo 162, Lt. Haydon, Sgt.Maj. Voice, Caz, Morph, Anakin and their special forces rescue team are tip toing their way through the trees towards the crash site and are a little unnerved by the shrieking beast howls that can be heard echoing through the forest. Haydon and Voice have been here before. Lt. Belladonna managed to land the fixed wing aircraft safely after Capt. Sharky was struck by Witchies spell and is now a shell of a man being rushed off for medical assistance at the air base. Belladonna herself was holding it together but has just collapsed still onboard the plane much to the shock of PJ who has run off to get some assistance for the quivering, shivering, convulsing Belladonna whose nose is running with blood. The Beast Master, Witchie and their beasts have just arrived at the crash site and Witchie is toying with Capt. Mellors and Lt. Flyo's remains whilst the beasts go nuts anxious for their next feed.

Whilst nurse Gicci Girl watches over Lt. Belladonna as she fights for her life after Capt. Sharky lost his battle, PJ is getting intimate with enlisted bar personel manager Andrea in her room. Dr. Marmoset has just been called to a meeting which Capt. Suzi, Lt. Rob, Lt. Jaycee and Capt. Biggles are already at and is being held by Colonel Andy C/S Survivor. Meanwhile in the pine forests of hell Liam is desperately tring to spark the jeep back to life with an appalling hot wiring technique as Maxine bats mini beasts away with a torch and Flip lays in skeletal form at the side of the jeep. Lt. Haydon's team is battling to get to the jeep but due to a bit of sourcey by the evil Witchie and the Beast Master are finding for every beast they shoot for more appear in smaller and smaller forms making them harder and harder to kill and far more agile. Caz is fending of the jaws of a beast with her rifle as Sgt. Maj Voice is shooting like a woman possessed to try and keep the mini beasts back. Anakins squad has become seperated slightly from the others but like Morphs they are battling on. Oh and Capt. Mellors and Lt. Flyo are well lets just say digested.

Whilst Lt. Haydon and his team fight for thier lives and freedom PJ and Andrea get it on much to the iritation of Pvt. Pandora who is trying to get some rest in the room next door. Haydons team has managed to squeeze into Liam and Maxines jeep in which there is more room now since Flip has been mauled to death. Caz, Anakin, Morph and Voice have also made it with four of the other team members (there were five but one turned into a beast in the back of the jeep and had to go...well they shot him and then kicked him out...intestines and all).Anyway Lt. Haydon is now driving haphazardly backwards down a rutted track away from the beasts Witchie and the Beast Master who are planing their next attack having made a tactical retreat for the time being...they did a chant which caused a few headaches but all is quiet now. Having tried so hard to survive Lt. Belladonna transformed into a warewolf type beastie thing and ripped the wonderfully caring Nurse Gucci to shreads. Col. Andy (base leader) was on his way to his plane when PJ sprung forth ahead of him very scantily dressed as he tried to catch Capt. Biggles and Lt. Jaycee before they took off on a rescue mission in the fixed wing (PJ's aircraft). Andy was about to give PJ a telling offf when Belladonna leapt forth in beastly form, scared them half to death and received a bullet between the eyes from Andy's side arm. PJ is not happy that his old boss is dead but hey that's life. Capt. Suzi and Lt. Rob are flying their Puma with Dr. Marmoset (who doesn't like to fly) in the back on a rescue mission to get Lt. Haydon and the team the hell out of dodge. Oh and a hercules has landed in a bigger airfield close by!

Dr. Marmoset will probably be doing a spot of first aid on them now as they fly back to base. Capt. Biggles and Lt. Jaycee were last heard from whilst under attack by mini beast bats things and Col. Andy aka Survivor has ordered Slipper (+ navigator Tiggs) and Tigereye (+ navigator Blink) to take a peek over the area in their jets and see whats to see. PJ, Pvt. Pandora have been watching the arrival of Capt. Minklemar and a crack team of special forces which includes Sgt. Tuppence who have been flown in in Flt. Lt. Nastynorries Hercules. They (Minklemars troops) have had a breifing and are now off to kick some butts.

Capt. Minklemar now has an army of 80 troops, 30 of her own and the other 50 came with the base. She is getting them battle ready as we speak. Lt. Haydon, Sgt. Maj Voice, Morph, Caz and a miscellaneous extra who no doubt will be anhialated at some stage, are all back on the ground safe and well as a result of the out and out guts and bravery of Capt. Suzi, Lt. Rob and Dr. Marmoset (who has a bit of a thing for Lt. Haydon). Whilst Suzi struggles to down a bottle of Coke under the watchful eye of Flt. Lt. Nastynorrie Rob is chatting with PJ, Pandora and Andrea about what has been and surely will come. Liam and Maxine are in the breifing room with Lt. Haydons team being spoken to by Col. Andy fresh back from his flight in his Jaguar which saw him lose Slipper and Tiggs to the forces of evil but return with Tigereye and Blink. Capt. Minklemar herself and Sgt. Maj. Tuppence are also in the briefing room to get a witnessess eyeview of what's in store for them but it has already been made clear that Minklemar probably knows more about all this than she is letting on. Jaycee and Biggles did in deed meet that expected gorey end and the Beast Master along with old friends Witchie and the beasts are rapidly approaching the camp.

Andy has just taken off in his Jaguar jet and Capt. Suzi along with Rob and PJ are watching an horrific encounter unfol on the forrest floor beneath them as the ground troops take on the beasts in hand to gnashing teeth combat. Dr. Marmoset is ready to make any repairs to body parts she can and Witchie and the Beast Master are standing back enjoying the mayhem they have created!

Col. Andy aka Survivor, is falling to earth having had to eject from his aircarft. The Beast Master is angry at the fact that Witchie is now toast as a result of Survivors bombing run and is out to exact revenge in full. Capt. Suzi, PJ and Lt. Rob (with his broken anklle) are scurrying towards the area in which Survivor will fall......will they get there before the Beast Master?.....dum dum dum......

The fate of Capt. Minklemar, Lt. Haydon and their few remaining troops is undetermined at this time after Survivor dropped his bombs on their location at the request of a very soon to be defeated Capt. Minklemar.

Andrea having made he move on Liam is now stood aghast as she watches the drama unfolding less than a mile away. Liam, Maxine and Secrets are also peering on in horror!

Pvt. Pandora has put her war face on and is preparing to kick some butt.....Dr. Marmoset is ensuring Nurse Stilleto knows what to do as the casualties are brought in.

Coastie is still to busy dunking her biscuits in her tea to be bothered to get involved in any of it!

Oh...just to add....when I copied the story into word (the whole version exc. abridged bits and notes from the actors) and change the font to Courier New size 12...it filled 52 sheets! :unsure: I haven't printed off a hard copy as I think the boss might notice! :huh:
