Will anyone be watching this tonight ? I think its sandwiched between Big Brother on Channel 4.

I think i will give it a whirl. Its had a fabulous write up, and it supposed to be the next best thing since Desperate Housewives / Lost.

To be honest, there's nowt else on either.

I am going to give a whirl too Bonnie, as you say nowt else on and it has had rave reviews in the States.

It's been described as a cross between Sex in the City and The Devil Wears Prada plus the lovely Ashley Jenson is it in, and it'll be good to see how she is in a big US production.

I thought it was fairly heartwarming and watchable.

But I'm always uneasy with the Ugly = good and Beautiful = bad comparisons it's throwing up.

I'd rather it was on for half an hour than a whole hour, but I will watch a couple more weeks to see if it gets better.

Im still loving this. I felt so sorry for Betty last night when she had her desk taken and her stuff packed up so she could leave. And when that lovely costume woman sewed her bunny up again

I am sooooo into this show now, and its a must on a Fri evening.

me too Bonny.

Richard Arnold GMTV said it really takes off after episode 3.

It's about time something decent was on tv on a Friday night.

Although I do wish she'd take those braces off!!

I might give this programme a watch.

I thought it looked quite watchable in the trailers, but I haven't actually had a Friday night in for weeks.

However, as the rest of January is stretching before me in a barren wasteland of social decline, I may just have the opportunity to tune in.

I shall give you my verdict next Friday.

I haven't actually had a Friday night in for weeks.

Same as that.

Got to see it last night (Kids weekend so I get in the background 'Stenders, CBB, Ugly)

Good light entertainment. Will watch if on when I'm in.

Big plus for including a Brit (Scot) in the cast

loving it!! but i usually do love these american programmes (hate british soaps). as much of a biatch as is amanda (is that her name) i think the actress does a really good job with all the eyebrow raising. and hating walter the cheat!! does he really think betty will come running back after he sings beauty and the beast? ugh total cheesefest!!

Although I keep watching this I really can`t make my mind up about it. It does have it`s good parts but not enough for my liking. No doubt I will still keep watching though

Great Friday nite tv. As good as Desp HW was in series one (after series one that show went straight down the tubes). It has a heart, it is funny and it has the Dad from Neighbours in it and Ashley from Extras. It is also fun watching it and trying to decide which one you would like to diddle the most..
