View Full Version : Things that worry you....
Groucho 09-01-2007, 12:57 AM ...as you get older.
I dont pee as fast as I used to........prostate perhaps?
Does anyone know what the right course of action is if you're concerned?
Also, my ankles ache first thing on the stairs......should I be worried?
I dont laugh as much as I used to!
Is it just me, or is the world less funny than it used to be?
survivorfan 09-01-2007, 08:28 AM Awwww sorry you're feeling poorly Grouch, still big hugs  I'm sure you'll feel better soon.
By the way that peeing thing, my uncle's friend's neighbour (I think) had that problem (I think) and he was diagnosed with a rare form of penis blockage (I think) which meant he was in hospital for eight months and still walks with a limp. HTH.
Groucho 09-01-2007, 09:49 AM Thanks SF.

Dolores 09-01-2007, 01:38 PM ... is it Thursday already?! <<Dolores checks calendar>>
I worry about how much you drink and how late you're on the computer, Groucho.
SF - I worry about your over-use of smillies.
Patsy 09-01-2007, 02:07 PM Dolores, I worry about your over-use of Ls.
Haydon 09-01-2007, 02:44 PM If you're worried about your pee rate, go to the doctor man!
I'm a born worrier.
Will I have enough money at the end of the month?
Have N Korea got a nuke?
Will the client like the new design?
Am I going to go bald or will it just continue to go grey?
and that's just to begin with.

H, it's called Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and they have meds for it...I use them daily! (Sorry, I know how you hate quoting... ) HTH!
Groucho...have you had a PSH test done?? It's something about certain levels of something to do with your prostate gland and possible inflamation, etc. I'm no expert on male plumbing, but the soon to be former Mr. Ms has had problems with this and had to go to a urologist, take some medication, have some re-tests, and has even had a couple of 'flare-ups'. As far as the rest, wear good trainers as much as possible, and find a "Laugh A Day" site to help you with them. HTH!

oh good lord - where is your sympathy for the Doctor NA? he's already had an eyeful and a handful of Grouchy's scrotum for the vascetemy ... one handle of G's ball bags is enough for any doctor!
Northern angel 16-01-2007, 04:06 AM Oh poor Groucho, needs the sympathy the doctors are well paid to look at all sorts of ailments.
I think nobody could be a more miserable focker than me, when I'm ill. Everybody knows about it and I run those closest to me ragged. In fact the last three weeks I have had flu with aches pains hot sweats and all the gunge that comes with it. I have been a right lazy barsteward and let everybody else wait on me. This week is the first week I have had to do some serious house work and again I have made sure to do it as noisily as possible.
If my throat is an issue for the obvious, I'll pester the living daylights out of a private speech therapist and an ENT specialist until I feel satisfied that something can be done about it.
I can be a real pain in the old :assshake:
It is nice though when people care. What do you think?

Figaro 07-06-2007, 10:15 PM I worry about the fact that my sister thinks it is necessary (and normal) to change her 3 month old perfectly healthy baby's nappy 5 times in 20 minutes.
She gets through approx. 60 nappies in 2 days.
I'm not a mother, but I know that is unusual.......
msgirl 08-06-2007, 02:54 AM Figs sweetie, as the Director of a decent size daycare, if we change nappies more than 6-7X in a 10 hour day, we get an ass chewing!! Tell her to chill...a little pee won't harm the child. Poo is a different story. HTH!:nerd:
msgirl 08-06-2007, 02:59 AM Oh yeah, I'm worried I'm getting old and crazy and that I'm not in Patsy, Fee's, Bons, Coastie's, Peej's, Fig's, Groucho's, Slip's, SF's, Mar's, Haydon's, SB's, Dol's, Max's, Isis', TE's, floopy's, and all the others I left out's cliques anymore. Anyone that comfort me in this, please feel free.
Patsy 08-06-2007, 08:23 AM Jen, how many times do we have to tell you there are no cliques on SO. Just ask anyone on my "favourites" list.
msgirl 08-06-2007, 01:07 PM but, am I on there?? :wink_kiss
Patsy 08-06-2007, 01:33 PM Of course you are, sweetie runs to check.
Coastie 08-06-2007, 01:45 PM I'm not...
But then I'm not worried about it :w00t:
My only worries at this time is getting two new bulbs for my car and nudging my dad into his own house!
mikado 08-06-2007, 02:56 PM Oh yeah, I'm worried I'm getting old and crazy and that I'm not in Patsy, Fee's, Bons, Coastie's, Peej's, Fig's, Groucho's, Slip's, SF's, Mar's, Haydon's, SB's, Dol's, Max's, Isis', TE's, floopy's, and all the others I left out's cliques anymore.
