i don't think that is so, he likes her as she is a sweet girl - albeit very poorly educated, Its funny that she must have some common sense about her as her milked celeb status etc has shown but to think that "no none knows how high the sky is tho" is just beyond my imagination how an adult could formulate that sentence.

I was talking with a co-worker today and she said that Jack is from multi-millionaire stock (his dad). I don't know why I posted that up ... but it's the most interesting thing I've heard about him! I read your post - yeh the girl done good considering her background - but I cant stop feeling dismayed that people like Jade are still being churned out day after day. I work with those who are "socially excluded" so I can (to an extent) emphathise with her upbringing. I blame education, social services and government ... Jade should never have been allowed to stay with a "mother" like Jackie. 1000's of people like Jade are being failed every day in this country.

Im wondering why Jade's grandparents didnt have more to do with her upbringing. They seem quite sensible and grounded...

Yes gotta agree that Grandad came across as a bit of a bully having a laff at Jackiey's expense. Her reaction to his 'playful' threat to punch her on the nose was extreeeeeeeeeemly telling.

Saying that, reading Jades biography, honestly you could weep for her. If she heard someone hammering on the door, her first reaction was to run and find her Mother's stash of heroin (her mum would be comatose and out of it) and stick it in the freezer with the frozen peas, just in case it was a drugs raid. I noticed the way when jackie got evicted everyone jumped up to comfort Jade - but where was Jack.

We were shown Jack trying to comfort Jade three times last night, and every single time she shoved him aggressively away, only allowing herself to be comforted by Cleo, Ian and Jermaine. Very odd reaction I thought.
