I have been many years back, so that won't count now. However, I do have friends out there right now, and they are loving it.

Little snippet from an EM prior to Xmas....

Life here is still good (although it has rained the last few days and the sky is grey and miserable - we take the sunshine for granted now so its a bit of a shock when the sky isn't blue). Kids are still enjoying themselves - I went yesterday morning to see them in their school xmas concert (words to 12 days of xmas had been changed to "on the first day of winter my good friend sent to me...." no as not to offend the Arabs in the school!!! )

Well, three months down and one to go.

Been a lot different than I expected.

Loads of laughs and busy most weekends.

Looking forward to heading home for R&R and seeing loved ones etc.

If anyone is heading out here with work or for a stop off to somewhere else I can deffo give you the low down.

Well I was due to go to Abu Dhabi but that's been kyboshed so not sure yet.

I did go to Bahrain the other day for a day trip - Won't be going back there!

I'm hoping for Panama towards the end of the year but alas I don't know in the meantime. Looks like back to London and maybe a few weeks back here around October (maybe)? At least I miss the really hot weather. It's around 40 to 45 deg C at the mo so reasonable but up in the 50's is a bit much!
