I've entered a web site competition about global warming and I've been thinking of using something to bring it to the attention of more people. A way of marketing the site if you like. I was considering using the "flowerpot surprise" thing to help spread the word - but can't think of suitable images. Anyone got any ideas? and does anyone know of any artists that could create the little images?

How about eggs which hatch into animals which will be saved from extinction if we can delay/prevent global warming?

I like the idea of the pictures changing at different stages, but don't know how to implement it. I guess they will just have to be eggs and then *poof* they're an animal. ??

Just thought I would resurrect this and let you all know how things are going (especially floopy as she helped with the idea).
Since it's launch the site has had 15,588 unique visitors!

Unfortunately, I'm not doing that well in the actual competition - ranked 64. However, it is ranked number one on MSN.co.uk! Shame the competition is based on msn.com. I guess it's not over till the fact lady sings, however I just don't have the time. What has amazed me though is how many people have stuck these eggs on their web sites. They have appeared on sites all around the world.
Thanks to everyone from SO (members and lurkers alike) that have helped by using the eggs.
