Anyone else going to give this a go?

Starts Saturday 7.45 on ITV1

They are saying it`s not a Dr Who/Torchwood ripoff but I reckon it will be close. I must admit I like these sort of programmes though

Im not into Doctor Who, or Sci Fi in general .. but i quite fancy this.

We normally go out and play on a saturday night, so i will have to record it.

Yes Im going to give it a whirl. Nothing could be as bad as the acting in Torchwood, so Im setting the video and checking it out.

The little blonde actress in it is Hannah Spearitt from S Club 7 !

Ooooh definitley and I know Patsy will too as Mr Douglas Henshall is in it - not your usual totty but there is something very attrative about him and the Scottish accent helps!! :applause:

If I get time I may give it a go. The problem is if I like a programme I'd rather sit back and watch it at the actual time rather than a recording. Or whilst out baby sitting as I won't get any peace.

Still I do like far fetched programmes such as Dr Who, and it may be good. It certainly looks interesting from the snippets that have been shown so far.

I think a lot of kids would have loved this and the idea for the show is excellent.
Hannah Spearritt is atrocious in it, so here's hoping her acting gets a little better.

Just two small points :-

* You are the first people ever in the history of this planet to go through a time anomaly to an Earth millions of years ago where dinosaurs are roaming and flying about, on the other side. Just two people go through - a paleontologist and his SAS minder - and yet NEITHER of them take any recording equipment? No camcorder or camera?????????

* You have Freelander 4 x 4 car which you use to ram a huge four ton dinosaur and kill it. You are not killed or harmed in any way during this collision and oddly enough the car isnt even dented..... purlease.

Saying all that my niece adored the programme.

I thought it was OK. A bit 'Blue Peter' but it was alright. I will be tuning in again.

Very far fetched. Terrible acting. Like the idea of the plot crossing through into a different time.

Still I will watch again to see if it improves.

Not a patch on Dr Who.

Hmmm, our house was so looking forward to this one, but I am still on the shelf. The idea is excellent, but the storylines are way silly, I agree with Pan here.

I will give it another couple of goes (nothing much better to do I s'pose), and really do hope it improves, it could be so much better.
