After many years of stage management I have had a go at directing a play - one of the hardest things I have ever had to do!

If anybody is interested it's called "The Witches of Prestwick" and it's on on Friday 23rd February as part of the SCDA one act festival at the Aberdeen Arts Centre.

Tickets still available if anybody wants to come:D

I think Rob should pay for us all to go and see this and then we can say how good it was, especially the directing and he will get great reviews....:applause:

Rob, unfortunately it's my son's 13th birthday on the very same day! if you want exact timing go for 19.07 hours on that same day and we will compare notes ... you know the sort of thing ... then and now!!!!!! my occasion on that date 13 years ago will probably be a lot more productive and a lot less painfull .......

I wish you luck Rob, and if I wasn't accompanying a group of teenagers in a Bowling/Burger extravangsa I would be there with you ... and I think we both know which event I would rather be attending ... ALAS motherhood and duty come first.

break a leg ... or whatever it is directors get whispered to for "good luck"!!

It went well - it was a competition and we didn't win - but I didn't expect to! The audience enjoyed it and it got all yhe laughs that I would have expected - and a lot of people told me afterwards that they enjoyed the play.

Here's to the next one!!

Well done, Robster. As long as everyone enjoyed it, that's the main thing. You deserve a medal for even attempting to direct, let alone be successful at it. Bravo!
