... oh god are we so middle aged that they didn't even register to start a thread on!!!
for me the highlights were as follows:
1. Fern Cotton - oh my lord, my love, what happened to you!?! the faux cockney, rock chick accent (or has the rest been a fake?), the bad hair, the bad make up, the bad style ... you used to be gorgeous .. or am I just out of the loop?!
2. Joss Stone - wtf? wtf? wtf? ... I hope to be able to put this down to being young and impressionable ... we want the real Josh Stone back, please!!!
3. Russell Brand ... ok, a couple of jokes/commentaries fell flat, for me it was the pathetic attempt a satire with the "friendly fire" joke, but overall a great live performance.
4. ... and I pinch this from the Holy Moly site (but I did think it anyway!!!) Liam Gallagaher has forgotten how to sing and has a bald patch appearing!!!.
5. Noel Gallagher - still sexy still talented!
6. Razorlight - NO AWARDS!!!!????? WHAT A F***ING traversty!!!!! Picture below of Johnny Borrell (my current heart Throb ... even thought I'm old enough to be his older sexy aunty!!!!!!!!).

I thought it was good.. better than previous years. Russell Brand made me laugh, a lot - specially with the comments about Robbie Williams.
Personally though, I have to say that I think these award ceremonies are all bull anyway, and the Brits are well past their sell by date. Saying that I do end up watching most of them though :bag:

Two words.
Joss. Stone.
What the living fek was she on? How much of it had she taken? What the hell was going on with that hair? Why did she wear such a grotesque dress? But more to the point - an american accent Joss?????? an american accent ffs???????? You are from Devon dear and made an utter fool of yourself and newspaper headlines for ALL the wrong reasons.
Loved all the pish taking jokes on Robbie, whose rehab stint just happened to coincide with the Brits Awards, none of which he had been nominated for..... :whistling:
Liam Gallagher's monkey walk and hard man attitude had its usual effect on me - ie. I pished meself laughing as soon as I laid eyes on him. His hard man of rock all dissolves into nothingness when its remembered that Mick 'charlie drake lookalike' Hucknall gave him the pasting of his life a few years ago, outside a club when Liam sneered about his beloved Manchester United......

I thought it was boring, Russell Brand who I normally like, was awful, switched over half way!

Thought Russell Brand was absolute ******! Agree with Joss Stone, can't think what happened there!
Robbie Williams seriously needs to get over himself, and at the moment with so much fab music around he would not be missed if he retired!
Thought Snow Patrol were absolutely fantastic and it was a shame they never won an award, likewise Razorlight and so glad that I am not the only one who has a tingling sensation whenever they see Johnny Borrell.
Also thought that Paolo Nutini should have walked the Brit Male award - James Morrison is boring!
Oasis - they deserved their award as they are without doubt a fantastic band even though Liam Gallagher is a tosser - would have rather they sung Wonderwall.
Overall I found it rather dull and didn't enjoy the gushing Fern Cotton (who I usually do) doing the backstage banter.
Loved the Take That boys and it really was a rather huge finger up to Robbie Williams who is now realising that he is not as big as he thought he was!

I got a little bored with the Brits to be honest. I was REALLY looking forward to the show.
I loved Russell Brand (but only because i want to sleep with him) - and i enjoyed Take That as their singing was brilliant .... almost as if it were a recording. I thought the rest of the live acts were rubbish. I adore the Scissor Sisters, but i didnt think their performance was very good either. And Oasis .... what a pile of S8ite.
Basically i was bored, and i didnt rate it much at all.
