Are you sure it was the child that they didn't want going near their school?
I mean, I can see where they were coming from even without having ever met you!

I am SO glad I dont have this worry, my sis has just gone through it all for my middle niece, but thankfully she has been accepted in her big sis's school - its been difficult cos she has special needs because of missing so much school due to her being so poorly and she will miss more in the future as she has to have several more serious operations as she grows.......

We are currently going through major trauma after my Grandaughter had been "Happy Slapped" and bullied horrifically. The school are doing nothing, so my daughter pulled her from the school, they are now having death threats so the police have been brought in, and now a fight is on to get her placed into another school.
It's that bad my daughter is thinking of moving, even the 'other' Grandma has had threats on her, it's a really bad time for us all.

That is just appalling La Freak
Are the LEA involved? All schools are now required by law to have an anti-bullying policy and you should ask the school for a copy
I'm sure you are doing everything you can but below are some links you may find useful anyway.

Spooky, thank you so very much for those links, I appreciate all the trouble you have gone to, however, my Grand-daughter does not live in this area, but I will use those links to lead to the area she lives in and forward them to my daughter.
She is in the process also of getting a petition written up on here (http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/) regarding trying to stop all this, she is waiting for acceptance, and if it is I will post it here.
Right now they are all with their local city police with a mass of information, and if that fails their local MP (who I know) is the next stop. My daughter told me this morning that she has dug up this info (http://www.raisingkids.co.uk/todaysnews07/news_130307_01.asp) on her searches, worrying as hell isn't it!
