Old shark eyes or Horse face (take your pick) really did wind me right up last night. See could not sell a bucket of water to a convicted 15th century Witch. Poor old Adam, he may be dull but he can sell and has been right a lot in this series whereas horse face is so full of it. :boxing:

The girl who was evicted came over as rather nice in the BBC2 show. Suralan's reaction to her "MBA" was great..

She did bang on about that MBA though didnt she?

By old horse face, I presume you mean Clare the Back stabber? It was hilarious the way she A&& licked to that totally up herself Elizabeth of the photographs, of which posters are usually given away in the weekend newspapers. Totally daft that the asian guy (cant remember his name as its about the first time we have really seen anything of him) was taken into the board room for the grand offence of not doing the labels properly!

I thought he would be the one to get fired as it`s usually the person who hasn`t stood out that SAS seems to get rid of. Glad that Adam didn`t get fired this time as he did do everything right.

Bit disappointed that this task was almost identical to one in the last series

I've been looking at job ads recently and to be honest the average job ad is fine, it usually says in fairly clear terms what they're looking for.

In the case of this show, Sugar says in the intro he's looking for someone 'drop dead shrewd' - you can't be clearer than that, and that's who he'll choose.

these days there is so much red tape attached to what you can and cannot put in the job advert - by golly, by gosh, you can't even ask for a bubbly personality anymore - what is it all coming to?! tsk, tsk,

Apparently (dont know how true cos it was in one of the tabloids) its all going to kick off this week and Katie has something to do with it...........

allegedly her and the posh ex army captain one, who she was flirting with during the dog task the other week, ended up getting it on and were at it in a spare room....... and old SAS is not impressed when he finds out about it!!!!:w00t:

I read that Christina and Katie had a massive row about Christina dobbing her in about shagging the Army Captain. Hopefully it will be shown next week. :applause:

I despair for this silly girl. She is a hopeless snob and has very limited ability, she has no soul, no nice side just a horrid falseness and lack of charisma. Even Ruth Badger had a heart. I genuinely would not employ her to pack my parcels.

I actually thought she came across quite well last night. She's very bright and very cutting, which I like. I got the impression that SAS was biting his tongue, trying not to laugh, when she was laying in to Adam.

Yeah, Katie did well last night. Admittedly it helped that Adam was such a loser. It was the lowest of blows, but she made me laugh with the "Mr Pinot and Mr Grigiot" comment :D

The "You've Been Fired" programme demonises her something rotten though, which makes me suspect she's not made the last two.

I didn't understand it - what did she mean?

I thought she was a bitch and snob of the highest order. A truly odious woman who I wouldn't trust as far as I could throw her.

Just a couple of cringeworthy comments she made about Adam:

"If he was at my school he'd be in the C stream so I'd have nothing to do with him which would suit me fine".

"Now he's been fired he can go back to the North with his northern chums - cos that's where he belongs".

And I loved the B/S when she came back to the house about "Adam was fed information about me and Paul to give to Sir Alan, but Sir Alan knows who's feeding him information and he's not impressed" ... what a total crock! Our Kristina doesn't scare that easily (although I do!!! :ninja: )

Also although she did well at the task, she so obviously had a bee in her bonnet about Smarmy Paul going last week and not Adam, it's a good job they weren't together much last night (for Katie's sake) otherwise I'm sure Sir Alan would have sacked her for sabbotaging the project (which, imo, she would have done if she'd had too much time in Adam's company).

All said though Adam was a pretty hopeless leader :bye:

She is horrid.

I agree that she is being demonised (surely she must have some nice bits), but thre is no getting away from the fact that she is an insufferable snob and full of her own self improtance. She has her head stuck so far up her own a.rse I wouldn't be surprised to see it poking out of her mouth.

I'm not sure that she has that much business acumen either. She has some talents, but she is not an entrepreneur - she is a politician. She is the sort of sleazy character that work well in a hierarchy that she can grease and manipulate.

Disgusting woman.

I think she was sneering (something she does very well) at Adam liking a glass of wine hence his best friends being Mr Pinot and Mr Grigiot. Bit childish really although she thinks she is very witty with her stupid beetroot face.

LOL well that's all true I suppose.

Still I kinda admire her political skills. She's just lost her best ally - Paul - so what does she do but start getting pally again with another strong contender, Kristina. Now it's obvious she loathes Kristina, yet she was managing to keep it all under wraps. And to be fair, Kristina likewise. Come the boardroom, with SAS stirring like mad, it's pretty obvious that Kristina is not and never will be Katie's bestest mate. So what does Katie do? Starts working on Ghazal. She's thoroughly political and thoroughly duplicious, but you have to respect the steely determination :)

Likewise you have to admire the way she got back to the house and started dropping all those comments about SAS knowing who was feeding rumours. Way to put the frighteners on the opposition. Seems that Kristina is too tough to be cowed by that kind of thing, but you have to admire the way Katie tries to turn the situation to her advantage.

And kudos too for her honesty to the camera. I bet plenty of the other candidates have their secret views on each other, and keep shtum about it. Katie's putting some much-needed entertainment into the show.

Katie did a good job of leading the team once again. Her blatant attempts to flirt with SAS are amusing rather than alluring, but at least she shows some self-confidence there! The rest of them look scared stiff in the boardroom - even Tre was doing the rabbit-in-the-headlights thing :D

[Trust that wasn't too gushing SF?]

Patsy

I am finding Katie the most interesting feature of this series, tbh and I think SAS is too. He clearly enjoys their little weekly banter.

Tre blatantly showed favouritism towards his mate Simon by not choosing him to go into the boardroom, when he was an obvious candidate to everyone else. He's lost an ally in Lohit now because of it.

I honstely can't like her. I just can't. She epitomises everything that is wrong with a corporate environment. She is ruthlessly determinded and ambitious, but she has no integrity at all. She doesn't seem to be capable of believing that her own talents will get her through - she has to backstab and undermine in order to stay on top.

In contrast, Kristina, who is also ruthlessly determined and ambitious, doesn't need to backstab or undermine unless put into a position where she is forced to (i.e. in the boardroom when pitted against Paul). I think Kristina would rather not have to behave that way, whereas Katie doesn't know how to get on without behaving that way.

But, you've gotta admit, she's great entertainment, but I think she'll get a bit of a hard time from the "You're Fired" audience when her time comes to leave.
