Is she really that calculating?

I saw a couple of the Sunday tabloids ran stories about the demure Katie and her married men and romping in fields......:shocking:

I like the way Katie wrecked three marriages. Obviously the married men had nothing to do with it.

And I also admire the Mail's courage in printing that pic of the naked Katie, despite its obvious deep distaste at her sordid activities.

If Katie figured out from the start that she'd get a better career playing to camera than she would working for Amstrad then she's brighter than the other contestants. Good luck to her.

I don't have a problem with Katie. She knows what she wants.

Did anyone see the programme dedicated to the last 5 contestants and their families last night? Surprised to see that Katie has two small kids, never heard her mention them or thought she would be the maternal type!!!

I don't think anyone could say that they liked her or admired her. Good business people do not pork the payroll, or indeed go on reality tv shows. She is just another person who sees Tv as a fast way to money without the toil. That said, the apprentice is a tv show, not a job interview and as such she has been great value.

I hope that she devotes as much time and energy to her children as she does to bolstering her fragile self esteem.

Yeah, I saw most of that programme. It was quite an insight. Tre came across really well, I thought - he's been through quite a lot with his horrendous accident. And I was impressed by Kristina - she really has worked her way up from nothing just by sheer guts and determination. I got the impression that her family were hugely proud of her, and she is obviously devoted to her son, who seems to adore her equally.

I didn't realise that Lohit was gay, but now that I know, its obvious really.

As for Katie - I too was surprised to hear that she has too small kids. And despite that, I still don't think she has a maternal bone in her body. Did you hear her say that when she first got pregnant, she ran the New York marathon in spite of that thinking "well, if I'm meant to be pregnant, the baby will still be there afterwards". That didn't sound to me like someone who was desperate to hang on to the life growing inside her. I didn't think she came across particularly well in that programme, although she did seem less one dimensional.

I quite like Katie - yes she says withering things etc but they are funny and I bet the producers are delighted that they have someone with such acerbic comments. I think SAS likes her and Tre too - they always have a bit of banter and stand up for themselves - whether we like them or not they are good telly
And she does pull her weight in the tasks regardless of who she has to work with.
As for her lovelife - well lots of people - even really successful business people - have messy private lives and we don't know (or should we) the other side of these breakups. On the surface they don't look good but it is really none of our business - in some ways I envy her the lack of inhibition to just strip off in a field so spontaneously!
