Has anyone watched this ? Now, i fancy the bum cheeks off Dermot - but the show has lost its sparkle.

Last year I found the show boring, and i dont think Dermot liked the competition with Russell Brand. Dermot often said in interviews that he couldnt compete with a comedian - and everyone raved about how wonderful Russell was.

I think last years flop did the show a lot of damage though, and it still hasnt recovered. Or maybe, the format is tired and needs a change ?

it's so so difficult to have a programme for half an hour commenting on a show that has nothing worth commenting except for about a two minute update/news item.

Dermot should get out now whilst the memories are good, ditto Davina.

I still love Dermot, but I don't like watching BBLB because it spoils the highlights programme later.

I don't think that the negative comments here are coming from folks that watch BBLB. Dermo is a polished empathetic presenter. He makes a very thin content based show work. He works guests well (usually bad guests), keeps the audience on his side and comes across as genuine. You do not get the Pop idol gig by being crap etc..
