I am not sure Joe is very deserving of the title.

He seems like a nice, inoffensive sort of bloke (as does Fran) but let's be honest, he's not exactly entertaining is he?

Lately he's hardly featured in the show at all. Has he really done enough to win?

No I don't think he has done enough to win. Just kept his head down. Paul to win - he's priceless.

When Joe wasn't featured much at the beginning, I just thought, no problem his fans will take him through whatever he does or doesn't do. However, I thought he'd come into his own as the group became smaller and we'd see more of him than anyone else. I'm sure they tried to find some interesting clips with Joe in the edittng suite, but it's become obvious that Paul and Janet are going to top the bill. They're the ones providing all the entertainment. I imagine the people who support Joe are more likely to pick up their phones and vote than those backing JSP and Paul, so I think it's going to be a close call.

After all the hype on him, I am very dissapointed with him. He won't get a vote from me, he's done nothing to deserve it.

I reckon Joe is great as a stand up and as a single celeb to his fans he is charm and dedicated to the nth degree.

But I think he lacks confidence, in his abilitity to interact with other 'likeminded' celebs. I think he is insecure and qithout being to unkind - a bit thick!!

ummm Lord H - that ain't no recommendation as far as I can remember. Tony Blackburn was boring, and to quote Rhona - "a bit slow sometimes" - not a winner even though he was crowned.

Joe or Fran to go tonight, neither of them have entertained me that much.

There's a real big thing goin on about the editing of the programme the producers are only showing the stuff to reflect certain characters i.e at the moment it the janet and paul thing shown all the time, so as far as we know joe could be being very entertaining but we are just not seein the bit due to janets big gob!!

No, I am a bit of an insomniac, and watch a lot of the live feeds - half the time Joe isn't even in the camp. You hear the others asking where Joe is this time, and hear "Oh, he's wandered off somewhere again"

When he is there he sits lookign like some little wooden gnome, he's done nothing worth voting for.

I think Joe himself said he couldn't get a word in edgeways; something like that.

He could, I watched him sat in camp after their trial last night with the option of chatting to either Paul or Fran, he just sat grinding the Emu food, and only muttered "You alright mate" to Paul, I think that was it!

Well 2 weeks of being in there just coz he a comedian dont mean he got to entertain u all the time, the other are'nt exactly doin anyithng in particular either just this stupid thing between janet and paul which has just been edited in the main part to look good. They are all sick of each other 24 hours for 15 days stuck with jsp i think i would be climbing the walls

Sammy, believe me, I have watched a lot of the live shows and the ITV2 daytime shows and I reckon they are having trouble showing anything of Joe that would make good viewing. The main reason being that he is hardly there. He has thrown himself heart and soul into those emus and he is as obsessive about them as Tony Blackburn was with his logs.

He hardly says anything apart from "Thankyou Janet" and "thankyou (whoever did the trial)". The rest of his "conversation" is carried on in the Jungle out of camera shot with the emus.

I too have been disappointed in him because I thought he would be entertaining, but sorry, apart from a few funny quips when he was in the Hell-O-Copter I haven't seen anything other than a short quiet guy going about the chores. He couldn't even tell a joke without mucking it up!! He has just added to my view that without a script most "celebs" are nothing. I accept the point made that he wasn't performing, just being himself, but for me it wasn't quite enough to be good viewing.

your choice, just depends what floats your boat eh, prob just coz i am a really big fan of joe have been for years and i could watch him for hours just wittering with the emu's but that coz im sad and have no life lol, im not gonna argue or try and force my opinions on u, but he gonna win!! :laugh:

You could be right Sammy - he could win. I like him and thought he had it in the bag but think he may have just kept too low a profile.

I'm sure Joe has a big and faithful fan club which could just carry him through and if he wins, then good on him. The only thing that would really upset me is if Janet or Fran won :bye:

yeh i agree jannet is so annoying dont stop moaning. She should be happy to be the only woman in a jungle with 3 men! And fran well as i said before he is'nt even a celebrity! he trying to be too much of a macho "bring it on" the girls will love me and vote type of guy.

I think Janet is funny, Paul is very sweet and Fran is lovely but Joe overall comes out top! Come on Joe, you can do it!

I was almost in tears of laughter at Joe holding on for dear life at the end of the challenge. As he tried to grab the pole, then the grass and slid around on his stomach getting covered in mud. He just makes me laugh even when he really doesnt seem to be trying to, many seem disappointed that he has stayed so neutral on things, but I think there is nothing wrong with just doing your thing rather than trying to sabotage everyone else. Just makes me respect him more.

NOOOO! Please NOT Joe! He is a sly little guy who wants to win just as much as anyone else, and in addition, all he has done is sit on the fence, stay out of camp and generally be sneaky.

It will be very depressing if he wins, because it shows that the bext way to win is keep your head down. Imagine if everyone in camp was like that-it would have been a very boring series....

We have no idea what his personality is really like.

I think its the first time in IAC when I dont want any of them to win ....
