when the question was about the basic state pension to win the contents of the celebrity chest, they said the right answer was £61. I,ve just checked it online and the pension for 04/05 is £79.60 so the celebs were correct and should have got the contentsof the chest.

Funny you should say that Biddie, cos I thought that at the time. I actually became a pensioner this year (so they tell me anyway, I'm not convinced - lol) and had a bit of problem with my pension (not enough contributions) so was led to believe that I am only getting a percentage of the basic state pension (on my ex-husband's contributions) so it struck me as funny that I get more than £61.00. A bad mistake there and it cost them their treat :sad:
