I found that all a bit disrespectful to Jonathan and his grandmother, to be honest. Especially the part where he totally broke down in the bathroom with Nikki. I know it isn't the name of this game but in these circumstances I think they should have given the guy some privacy.

I'm pretty sure that he would have agreed to that being shown. I think contestants are allowed "private" non-filmed time in the diary room with a counsellor at certain times, so I'm pretty sure he could have asked for it not to be filmed.

I thought it was very moving and Im not ashamed to say I shed a tear.

Loved it when Liam said "****** off Jonathon" - it hit the perfect note to release the tension.

Goodbye Johnny babes ... and good luck getting ziggy out of your life once he is "released"!!!!! that boy band member will stick to Jonny like sh*t to a blanket, mark my words!!!

I was moved by Jonathan last night - and i was sad to see him go. I liked him. He said what he thought to everyone, but didnt get involved in any of the back stabbing / b**tching. In fact, I think he could of won as he didnt get a single nomination this week.

I was moved. I thought it was good to show it as it showed the hm's in a better light. Nicky cuddling J was sweet as was all the reactions.

I think what it showed was that even tho we like to bitch and hate certain house mates, deep down most folks are good, nice and just as we like to think we are. I thought it was a lovely moment that demonstrated love, kindness and understanding.

I disagree. Even if Jonathan was ok with them showing the footage of him breaking down in the bathroom, I still didn't find seeing a grown man crying like a baby over his dead grandmother very entertaining. It was extremely sad and personal to Jonathan and his family and shouldn't have been included in the highlights show, imo.

Whether I agree or disagree with the footage being shown I would have to say I disagree with your statement above, PJ. He didn't cry like a baby, he cried like a 49 year old man who'd lost his granny.

and BB is not all about entertainment in the haha sense but also in the sense that you get to see real emotions in real people, which that was. The alternative is a sitcom.

Umm, I wasn't meaning it derogatory as in "He acted like a big baby" - it was just meant as a comparison because babies are known for their crying. I have just as much sympathy for Jonathan as the next person. I was in no way inferring that he was immature for being upset by his granny's death. Depends on the way you read my post, I suppose.

I think BB were right so show Johnathan being upset......if they hadn't there would have been talk about how uncaring he was and that he didn't seem to give a damn.....especially with some of the jokey comments he made about how inconvenient it was for her to die.
