One retailer claimed that they were selling 15 copies per second! Wow.
Fastest selling book ever.
We reserved a copy ages ago with Waterstones (for my step son) - they were doing a deal where you get another book free.
Have you bought a copy?

I got my copy in Tescos - they had an offer where it was only £5 if you spent more than £50.
I've not read it yet though as I'm re-reading the Half Blood Prince first.

The books were only £5 in Morrsions and Asda without spending £50. I`ve not read any of the books but am up to date with the films.

Sorry, I just can't get my head round adults getting so excited about Harry Potter.

Have you read any of the books max? If not, read them. Then you'll see it's really not just for kids - they are good books. Honest!

I read the first one and half of the second one, which was basically a re-cap of what happened in the first one.

It's just not everyone's cup of tea. :)
I love the thrill of the books, and the friendships, the humour and the descriptions of wizarding life, and the fact that JK writes it in such an unpatronising way.
I bought mine from a proper bookshop for £11.00, well worth the money. I would have paid the full cost if I had to.
