I must be missing something when I watch the programme.I don't understand why Joe is getting all this support.

i am glad that joe is getting all this support. it is a shame he had to put himself throught this IAC experience to get it though. and i'm sorry but i don't think joe has been 'sitting on the fence'. he is such a nice, un-attention seeking guy that he doesn't get involved in arguments that didn't involve him in the first place. and he would never get involved in a direct argument with someone as he is not like that, he is a listener. some people must not have faithfulness in their fellow humans if they can't take somebody kind and helpful for what they are rather than thinking they are up to something.

I have nothing against Joe, but I just find him a bit insipid.
Its true what a lot of the celebs coming out have said, he sits on the fence, doesnt take sides, walks away from conflict and keeps himself to himself.

Whilst sure this makes him a nice man, to me it hasnt made great TV, which at the end of the day this is all about.

He has had moments when he has really made me laugh for sure, but I wanted to see the real Joe not the tv persona which I think is all he has shown us.

His wife said how he has a bit of a temper that he can be very vocal with his opinions...so where was it? He is being nice and staying on the fence so as not to rock the boat and so that no one see's him lose it.
Lovely man, but very aware of peoples perseptions of him and dosent want to show himself as naturaly as the others have. IMHO

I'm not sure why the 'sitting on the fence' aspect to Joe should be negative. If anything, it's shown he's pretty tolerant and easy going, and given the mixed circus of people he's been with, that's quite an acheivement in itself.

Yeah sorry but why does everyone not want the guy who has shown self control and respect for others to win? I personally find it refreshing to see that atleast some of the people are not constantly insulting others or having pops at them every chance they get. Some say it makes for dull TV, but I think generally it was a pretty well put together list. There have been fights, disagreements, bonding between several of them and slimeyness aswell as acting like a drama queen from Paul, what more could you want? Least we didnt have a shallow page 3 girl and some washed up 1 hit wonder all over each other this time around.

Joe winning would be fine with me. If not, then hopefully Fran, just aslong as cheap tactic drama queen Paul doesnt win it I am happy.

Am I the only person who has noticed that 57% 37% and 10% = 104% ???

Is there some kind of margin for error or are the quoted figures a load of pap?

Claire?

Well, If Joe wins then next years show will be a total waste of space. They will all know to keep their heads down, vanish off on their own, say nothing of consequence and be boring as hell - should finish of the show for good!

For Pete's sake, the guy has done nothing, absolutely nothing - why in heck should he win??

LOL Zoob - I think you were but well spotted. Maybe they're rounding the figures up or down, but even then they should only be a maximum of 3% out shouldn't they?

I watched a bit of ITV's late nate coverage for the first time last night, and I was disappointed with Joe. First Paul, then Fran tried to make conversation with Joe whose replies were monosylabic if he replied at all. It was mostly "yes mate", "no mate" or "you're right". No wonder there isn't much footage of Joe available if he adds so little to the discussion.

He's been like that every night Nox, how on earth people think he should win I don't know!

I think Joe deserves to win, he is just being himself and he isnt trying to prove anything like i think Paul may be a little bit. I think he just wants people to like him! Fran is quite sweet but i don't really think he should win.

i totally agree rachel. he is just being himself and if people don't like it it's their problem. judging by the results of that poll quite a few people seem to have sense :)

I don't think Joe deserves a thing to be honest, he has done nothing at all, and I think it's been his way of controling his temper - just walk out the camp and steer clear so people won't see the real him.

I think he has been a useless waste of space, and if he wins it makes the whole show a travesty!

On Richard and Judy this evening their phone poll had Paul as winner.

I live in the same village as Paul, he's a really great, down to earth guy. He's done brilliantly in the Jungle (especialy his rapport with Janet:-). I heard on the grapevine they are touring as a "double act" next year!!! Give him your support and vote for him tonight!!! :bye: :bye: :bye:

i do think that paul is a great guy i just want joe to win more. i think joe jsut wants to be liked so he is not showing what is termed to be the 'bad' side of him. and even if he is using it as a tactic, doesn't everybody have one or a reason they want to win. i don't think that joe feels he deserves to win but then again neither does paul. i think however they would both deserve to win as they are quite similar in personality in some ways which is probably why they are now friends. i have wanted joe to win from the start so im not going to change my mind but i want paul to be second as he is a decent bloke and plus i just don't get fran.

I will be vey very disappointed it Joe wins. he has added nothing, taken nothing and probably learnt nothing. It was bad enough when Tony "logger" Blackburn won and contributed practically zero, please don't let it happen again! Joe must go first tonight. They are looking for someone to play the part of Wishy Washy in the local pantomime staging of Aladdin - I say let him go and learn his lines!
