Anyone watching this? I loved Life on Mars. Ashes to Ashes is good, but prefer Life on Mars.
Still can't make my mind up about the lead character. Sexy lady, :wink2: but not sure if she's "right" for this. Preferred the Sam character.

Compelling viewing in our household. The two series, although obviously linked, are quite different. I am loving the relationship between "Gene" and Alex and the humour is still excellent.

A different take on the same theme, but just as good imo.

I only watched the first programme and quite frankly I couldn't bear the main character - she is shrill, badly made up and if she was chocolate she'd eat herself!

Much preferred Life on Mars - but I was latercomer to that and only watched it after it had aired on telly on ON DEMAND, so maybe if I see Ashes to Ashes later at my leisure I will be able to get into it more.

Quite enjoying this except for her dress sense and the fact that all the car chases are just around abandoned docks.

Wouldn`t it be great to go back into the bedroom you had at the age of 8 and see all the things you used to have that you had completly forgotten about

I've been watching this and quite enjoying it...I missed all of Life on Mars but hey that was the 70's and I'm too young to remember anything about that!:laugh:
