View Full Version : BB - the eviction - who do you want to go and why? Dolores 10-06-2008, 07:26 AM So it's the first round of evictions and up for nomination for failing the inane wedding task are: Mario Lisa Luke Steph So who do you want to go and why? Dolores 10-06-2008, 07:30 AM Has to be Mario for me. Could anyone be more silly and patronising and think they are so great ... and yet be so awful?! I hate the way he panders to Mickey in the most over the top fawning patronising way I have seen for a long time on tv. Not since Louis uttered the line about the blind guy in X-factor "poor bloke he's blind" have I cringed at the inept way someone has dealt with a disability making it ten times worse - for everyone. All that stuff with Steph in the kitchen last night saying that she was disrespecting Mikey and saying he wasn't going ahead with the "wedding" cos of the way people were treating Mikey? wtf? This guy is a knob of the highest order and after he's gone I'd like his dopey girlfriend to be next! Bonsai 10-06-2008, 08:18 AM Who is Maria ?????? I have to admit that before last nights show i liked Mario, but the scene in the kitchen was cringing. Steph didnt say anything about Mickey .... she was stating a fact that the groom shouldnt see the bride on their wedding day (although it was done in a moody childish way). But Mario went on and on and on, like an everready bunny - to the point that Mickey felt terrible. So it was Mario causing the tension, not Steph. Luke makes me smile with his Orville voice. Lisa handled herself excellently in the last few days, and i think on her own she could easily come out of her shell. Steph, although childish, is OK. So Mario to go :wink2: floopy 10-06-2008, 10:05 AM Steph should go - she's a self-obsessed prima donna who put no effort into the task whatsoever. She showed no acknowledgement of how the task must have made Lisa feel, and said Mario was 'grossing her out' when all he was trying to do was his best at passing, for all their sakes. Groucho 10-06-2008, 10:50 AM Mario went on and on and on, like an everready bunny The bunny is Duracel!! :glare: Bonsai 10-06-2008, 12:16 PM The bunny is Duracel!! :glare: Or even 'Duracell' :) Groucho 10-06-2008, 01:38 PM Or even 'Duracell' :) If you like love, you probably use more batteries than I do. :wink2: Mars 10-06-2008, 02:15 PM Mario for me, simply because I think he's already given us all the entertainment he's going to give us. Steph has more up her sleeve I think! PJ 10-06-2008, 02:49 PM Steph should go - she's a self-obsessed prima donna who put no effort into the task whatsoever. She showed no acknowledgement of how the task must have made Lisa feel, and said Mario was 'grossing her out' when all he was trying to do was his best at passing, for all their sakes. This is pretty much what I was going to say too. Steph to go please. Rob 10-06-2008, 04:04 PM Steph for me - stupid, big headed and self obsessed. Mind you I wouldn't be too worried if Mario got the boot. (Not that I'm really watching mind!) Dolores 13-06-2008, 09:03 PM unfair for Steph to go when Mario is such a ****! can't believe it really - why do I never get it right!!! Bonsai 16-06-2008, 08:18 AM I was quite shocked when Steph's name was called out. I really thought Mario would go. Then again .... he does have a MASSIVE fan club, and he is associated to sooooo many people around the country *yawn*. Mario isnt doing himself any favours. In the first few days i quite liked him, but now i just see him as a big headed pain in the rectum. sallyreena 27-08-2008, 07:13 AM I took a look at your site and recommend it to my visitors. I agree with you on the importance of becoming valuable in many different areas. I believe that it sustains any entrepreneur during challenges that inevitably occur. --------------- Sally Social Advertising (http://www.drivenwide.com) Email : drivenwide@gmail.com Bonsai 02-09-2008, 10:00 AM I took a look at your site and recommend it to my visitors. I didn't personally, and I didn't watch BB 2007 either, but what I did notice was that there was considerably less media coverage this year than in previous years. In 2007 I didn't watch a single episode, but the media interest was so great that I knew (a) who the winner was and (b) who the main/most contraversial players were. They were everywhere! Pictures, interviews - you couldn't get away from them for weeks. This year I haven't a clue. Dunno who won. Dunno the names of any of the contestants. Is this a sign that BB is on the way out? When the media can't be bothered to report on it, it is surely a bad sign. Channel 4 would be gutted. Buzz 24-09-2008, 06:28 PM I didn't watch this year either and also heard nothing about it. I do hope it ends now as it has had its day as far as i am concerned. Dolores 24-09-2008, 06:33 PM I watched avidly! but I was posting about it on DS - god there are some complete wan&ers on that site - not the same level of intelligence, wit and banter we get here usually! Hello from one wan&er to another  I watched EVERY SINGLE show of BB this year, and i loved it. But there was no point posting about it on here. So i stuck to DS. Although i think i only posted about 3 posts in the BB forum. Which means that Dol is a bigger wan&er than me. karenh 25-09-2008, 03:09 PM Have neither of you noticed though that there has been much less newspaper/magazine coverage on the show this year than in previous years? At least, it seems that way to me. Dolores 25-09-2008, 04:25 PM Hello from one wan&er to another  I watched EVERY SINGLE show of BB this year, and i loved it.
