Believe it or not, there will be yet ANOTHER bomb or fire at Sun Hill which will raze the Police Station to the ground. Andrea Warty Nose Dunbar and Ken Drummond die. (Booooooooo :( I like Ken!). Cathy Bradford may or may not be involved (so presumably she escapes the Mental Health Unit?)

I am getting bored with the Abbie storyline. She has been missing for about a month now, if that was my daughter I would have gone to pieces by now, but not Sam, she is in there doing her job everyday and no-one seems to be looking for her. Like the rest of you, I couldnt care less if Abi National lives or dies. Creepy Hugh is irritating, Sam Nixon is thick for not sussing him out (especially after he got that website up), and basically her boss and most of the rest of the nick dont seem to be in the slightest bit interested (despite getting worked up into a frenzy last year when Eva's kid went missing).

Its a stupid storyline that is dragging.

She is currently in a mental institution (no surprise there) BUT there are rumours that she will return at Christmas/New Year when she escapes to go on a killing spree ...

i used to think that too - but i became a lazy student watched two episodes in a row, as there was nothing else on and got hooked! The men in uniforms is a big plus though!! (even if all the good looking ones seem to leave rather sharpish - still mourning the loss of cameron tait!!)

The map is often on the wall behind the actors...it is obviously showing the 'Sun Hill' patch which sits in a sharp bend in the river......just look and you will see the similarities between it and a big floppy willy! :blink:

The thing I don't get with that is that Gabriel was in the Navy as David Kent was he not? I thought he took his brother's identity once he got out of the Navy. You would think that if they suspected Gabriel was doing anything dodgy they would start looking into his family background and discover his secret, don't you think? :huh:

Gabriel openly said when he joined Sun Hill that he had been in the Navy which is why I was a little surprised with how well Smiffy got on with him...initially.....as he is ex-army and well there's usually a bit of healthy banetr between the services!

Anyway I noticed that they are saying now that the Sniper is ex SBS (Special Boat Service)...this could loosely explain how he came to know Gabriel but the SBS is more for the Marines than the Army who do more along the SAS side of things......It's all very wishy washy but here's hoping the sour faced M.I.T. detective will dig something up just out of her own curiosity! :devil:

yeah mariarob, irene was about to surrender to the cops when Rob came and shot her dead then i think he was about to shoot two officers i think one was Ken and the other might have been Phil but i cant remember. and he wouldnt put his gun down so SO19 had no choice but to shoot him.

how on earth did Rob discover Irene Radfords wearabouts at the same time as the Police ??? how did he run through SO19's "ring of steel" around the armed Irene brandishing a revolver :rolleyes: and more to the point where on earth were all the senior officers ??????? An Inspector gets kidnapped by a notoriously unstable murderess, is driven all over Sun Hill at gunpoint, and theres no sign of Meadows, Okaro or even Dummy faced Neil Manson? And what a balls up the "kidnap detective" made of going to the house over the road from Irene's safe house ! Theyd have been better sat in their cars observing the house!
And why, if they were listening in to Gina Gold's radio and the ensuing conversation, didnt they triangulate the signal (as they can do with mobile phones), and find out where they were, instead of Gina having to leave clues in cigar ash for people to solve?

The episode was so full of plot holes ! and in the next episode we saw some bigwigs searching Rob Thatcher's desk and taking stuff away. Ummmm surely they wouldve done that a few weeks ago, when he went AWOL, brandishing a revolver and was running around with a gunshot wound ?????????????????:blink:

Just like I didn't know Dr Jim had been killed off in casualty, not did I know that it was a special with Holby city. I guess I have more of a life going on than I realised......

Just how crap an actor was the guy that kidnapped Lance ? He seemed to have difficulty stringing a sentence together and made Lance (who is no great shakes actingwise himself), look like an Oscar winner !

The gay wedding was appallingly acted. Sgt Mark Rollins (Lance's partner) couldnt have done a more unconvincing fake "loving" gaze if he'd have tried.

Tonights episode with Ramani and Terry's family/brother and the child abuse case was superb. Incredible acting from all concerned - which just highlights how incredibly bad Steve Hunter, Lance, Honey Harman and Yvonne are.

Honey was held at gunpoint tonight and rather than look scared she looked as if she was wondering what to get from Tesco's after the shift was over.

And why has it gone so quiet about Abi National and Creepy Hugh? Have they forgotten about her going to live with him? Isnt she supposed to be only 16? In which case, she is her Mothers responsibility and so cant just go off with whomever she likes.
And isnt D I Manson fed up of delivering every single one of his lines in an overly sarcastic way whilst raising his eyebrows all the time ? :glare:

Colin, the new probationary PC, is a racist and spits in PC Leela Kapors face. Smithy has a fit at him and chucks him out on his ear. Colin is full of threats and innuendo and so Gina Gold sends Ken to follow him. Ken is bashed on the head and finds himself in a van, crammed full of petrol cans. The van is seen careering toward the Sun Hill Reception where it crashes. It doesnt explode but there is petrol everywhere.
Reg Hollis is on the railway station platform and decides that he is going to phone Marilyn and ask her to marry him. The station explodes into flames. Is it Reg's mobile phone call to Marilyn's mobile that triggers the spark?

Ken is killed instantly.
Marilyn is fighting for her life in hospital.
Smithy is trapped.
Andrea warty nose (who conveniently has ALL the evidence against Gabriel) is trapped in a store room. Gabriel finds her and leaves her to burn (ahem, isnt this what Superintendant Chandler did to Kate, his girlfriend?).

Gabriel then rescues Smithy - and is hailed a hero :mad2:

Flippin' eck does the action never stop....they seem to like killing everyone off lately and the level of violence is increasing.......I always thought Ken would die of a heart attack as he never stops eating......I don't want him to get blown up! :cry:

Wartnose dying wouldn't be a bad thing but I am getting tired of Gabe getting away with it all the time and Smiffy should just punch him on the nose....we wouldn't tell would we girls! :wink_kiss

Last nights Bill was fab. Some great comedy timing from Terry and Jo Masters, and Gary Best was just so ghastly it was genius !! What a fantastic idea to put him in charge of an Obbo.........and wasnt he awful when he was sucking up to the new DI - all nods and winks and gurning, then going downstairs to diss all his (ex) mates in uniform, like some pr*t. Lol! It was fantastic.

Good grief - just HOW scary looking is Honey Harman and her revolving bowling ball eyes? She is so peculiar. She also seems to feel the need to say the word "Scott" in every sentence when speaking to him.

Ramani (or RAMMMMani as everyone now seems to be calling her) and Terry seem to be getting closer, eh? eh? nudge nudge.....

Margaret the cleaner needs a damn good scaring if you ask me. If she were stalking me and "trying to mess with my head" like she is with Ramani, it'd be the last thing she ever did !!! :glare:

One thing that really is irritating the life out of me is Gina's cancer scare. She went to the doctors for her diagnosis last month and within three weeks is receiving treatment - both chemotherapy AND radiotherapy.

This does NOT happen. We have had two instances of cancer in our family and on both occasions there was a waiting list for chemo and radiation treatment. Both family members were treated quickly, admittedly, but they had to wait 9 weeks from the original diagnosis. NOT three weeks.

Also, you have either chemotherapy or radiation treatment - you do NOT have them at the same time as the body's immune system simply cannot cope. You have your chemotherapy first - have a couple of weeks to recover from your last stint - and then you have your course of radiotherapy.

If Gina Gold was having both at the same time, she would be in hospital within a week and her hair would drop out in three days.

It does annoy me that these programmes increasingly use such poetic licence. Its like Eastenders where you can put your house on the market, have it valued, viewed, contracts exchanged, surveys done, searches done, contracts signed - all in a week.

Pan......calm down it's only a TV drama...although I quite agree they are rushing the whole process a bit and Gina seems to be rather perky after treatments IMHO...people I have known to have such treatment have been totally whacked afterwards! It was interesting listening to Radio 2 the other day and they were saying that as a result of Soaps (particularly Corrie and Eastenders) people are self diagnosing more and telling the doctors what is wrong with them based on what they have seen on the TV.....apparently a staggering 9/10 people have admitted to doing this! I agree about Ramani and the scary eyes. She does seem to go slightly trancey and then pop! :shocking: out come the eyeballs. Not a patch on Honey's scary eyeballs though, they look like ping pong balls with eyes drawn on...

Im not sure about PC Valentine anymore. I dont know whether he fancies her, dislikes her because she is asian, is a backstabber or just a chauvinist. A very complex character. I quite like Terry (despite the ski slope nozza), and hope they get together - although Im wondering if he will get "close" to his brother's wife when his trial starts.

There's been a nice bit of Smiffy action lately - which is nice, but not enough Reg !!

True about Okara...I don't know whether he is trying to play the role of a man who is desperately sad that he has lost his family or someone who has trapped wind.....either way his eye popping, furrowed brow and lip quivering is rather intriguing to watch even if it bares no relevance to what is happening in the characters life! :w00t:

Can anyone explain why Margaret the barmy cleaner is ALWAYS there in the police station. We never see our cleaners, they come after we have left at around 7.pm and wherever I have worked cleaners are never there in the day with the working staff . Why then is Margaret is every scene almost at all times of the day? Totally bizarre!

The same thought has crossed my mind from time to time...even when I worked for the Police I never saw a full time cleaner at the station....they would pop in for a few hours in the morning and then dissapear! :huh:

Shocked - eye's wide with very slight twitchy eyeball movement - mouth agape.

Bewildered - eye's wide and popping from head - lower lip sucked in slightly.

Concerened - eye's wide with slight furrowing of the brow - lips slightly parted.

Hurt - half frown - best if only displayed on left or right side of face - bottom lip slight pertruding.

Angry - full frown - stare at spot on floor about 6ft ahead of you - lips pulled in tight.

Love - eyes wide and rolling - lips in half pout.

I'm doing really well...I think I'll go for an audition next week! :thumbsup:

Would have been so much better if June had just got on the case, which it seems like she is going to do.

Why is Sheila stalking Gabriel. She is REALLY getting on my nerves, especially after the last catastophe after having an affair with Desi. Every other scene she seems to be asking him if he is interested in her, she is about 10 years older then him an all. Give us a break Shee.

Bob....Gabriel stole the identity of June Acklands son not Ginas...he pretended to be Junes son who she had adopted a zillion years ago when she was to young to bring uo a child. Anyway her son was adopted by a couple who then ignored Gabriel (who's real name is David Kent) ...he became resentful of the real Gabriel who emigrated to the U.S. just as his application form for the Police Service came through...David pretended to be Gabriel and got into the police...he requested Sun Hill so he could get close to June...indeed he succeeded in shagging her...he then revealed himself as her son..she naturally freaked but he eventually told her the truth and she located her real son just before he moved to the states...only she didn't say anything to him...she just pretended to view the house he was selling...anyway she hasn't told anyone about Gabriel as she fears she will lose her job etc..etc as Gabriel has that over her....

Anyway...Andrea wart nose found out who he really was and died in the fire but before her Kerry twigged all was not right and so he shot her.

All very simple really...not a jot over complicated or fantasy like!

no maria- didn't notice that I was too busy watching the storm brewing behind me and I couldn't get into the bill last night as I felt I had missed some but I was sure I hadn't, but a lot didn't make sense. Then flicking through the TV maag today I see the Bill was on tuesday night too while the rest of the world was watching messiah :sad:

My understanding is that Sunhill Police cars have a vanish spray built into the car door rim so as you step out it coats you in stain remover making your appearance smart and squeaky clean for whatever the occasion!

I simply couldnt believe it Coastie. How many more repeat storylines are we going to get of Gabriel has a nasty secret/someone discovers said secret/that someone gets maimed or killed/Gabriel manages to twist it so he looks the hero.

Its starting to get silly.

I have to say I watched the live episode through my fingers. And with good reason. I have NEVER in my entire life seen so many people suddenly decide to drop their previously good acting and replace it with gurning, hammy acting and shouting as loud as they can to get their point across.

Khan(?) the CID Chap, Phil Hunter, Tony Stamp, the gunman's wife and Terry in particular were appalling, IMO. Dan Caspar was a bag of poo as usual (and unfortunately didnt cop the bullet in the head).

Gina, Yvonne, Gabriel and Meadows were the only ones who seemed to be acting their usual selves.

They did well admittedly, as a live show must be a nightmare to carry off - but there were an awful lot of mistakes werent there? Tony Stamp in particular was rubbish and kept getting his cues wrong.

As for the female Superintendant - who no doubt has bitched and clawed her way to the top of the tree in the force - suddenly became this red headed barbie doll, with no sensitivity, tact or common sense, who started the whole gunman thing off in the first place and then suddenly decided that she couldnt handle the situation and handed it over to Okaro. All so the storyline would pan out.

Shoddily written and dreadfully acted. And the shouting and loud bangs scared next doors cat (who'd popped round for some tuna lol).

The Super Bimbo obviously has nicked everyone elses ideas to get to the top but surely her totally uselessness in high stress situations would have been noted earlier in her career!

It wasn't that long ago that she went round to his house (in the UK) under the pretence of viewing it becasue he was moving to the USA. That wasn't the same bloke was it? It wasn't that long ago that she went round to his house (in the UK) under the pretence of viewing it becasue he was moving to the USA. That wasn't the same bloke was it? I remember June snooping around the real Gabriels house and holding his child (her granddaughter) and then he moved to the US. But maybe we missed a couple of episodes where June 'fessed up???? I dunno. I think it was the same actor, but no idea how he is all okay about June being his mum and knowing where she works.

I think Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee is leaving too (thank god), so maybe the bogus Gabriel goes out with a bang (a la Cathy Madford) and takes Shelagh with him. Here's hoping Lance and Dan get caught up in it too.

The woman that Phil Hunter is with is his wife, Cindy, who used to be in it quite a lot a couple of years ago, then Phil got the boxing promotors wife up the duff (Madison was the result) and they split.

Steve Hunter ( who gets more appalling week by week acting-wise) slept with squeaky voiced Kate, despite knowing she was Phil's girlfriend AND pregnant with his baby. Phil found out about it and beat him up and now dislikes him intensely and will have nothing to do with pregnant Kate (thats why Steve is so guilty).

Oooh Coastie, did you see Gabriel plunge to his death? It was a bit ridiculous that June and Smithy allowed him to manipulate them right to the end though. The fight was quite realistic between Smiffy and Gabe (the make up ladies mustve had a field day with the blood and bruises).
Just a pity that Gabe didnt take Saint June with him when he jumped off the roof.
Nice touch hearing the screams of shock from far below, on the ground. Oh and I liked the fact that he confessed to raping Kerry, killing Kerry, killing Andrea, killing his brother, organising the sniper and the list of victims and kidnapping Shergar. (Okay, okay so the last one was a fib :laugh: )

The Terry/Ben/Lucy/Abuse storyline is getting to be annoying now. I like Terry but they dont seem to be giving him much to do at the moment apart from brood and shout at Ramani (who he seems to have forgotten is Acting D.I. and yet he yells at her like she is the cleaner).
Whats happened to the shop window dummy (D.I. Manson)? Is he on holiday?

He will be gutted when he finds out that Gabriel killed Andrea warty nose by leaving her in the fire.

Im hoping there is going to be a Guy Fawkes night tragedy in The Bill this year, where PC Dan Caspar, Steve Hunter, Lance and Honey Harman all fall into the bonfire and go up in flames.
