Andrea 20-12-2004, 10:40 PM Oh yes, its back.
Jack Bauer is to suffer another day of hardship, terror and lord knows what else.
These terrorists are getting a bit repetative.
But I am so pleased, I absolutely adore this program and will be hooked from the very beginning.
It is to start on Sky One on January 30th and reading in the sky magazine it sounds like there is to be a big explosion and a new look CTU team. So whose up for the chop in the first episode?
Andrea...another 24 fan brilliant.
I read somewhere that Tony Almeda and the ever so stupid daughter who keeps getting kidnapped Kim are out for sure and I think President Palmer is gone aswell.
I shall also be hooked along with Mr Buzz for the whole series.
Andrea 21-12-2004, 11:21 AM I'm so excited, I love this programme.
And yes, the explosion at the beginning seems to be getting rid of a few of the regular characters.
Minklemar 21-12-2004, 01:31 PM What will this be.....the 3rd one or the 4th?
I don't have Sky so I'll have to do as I did last time and avoid all mention of 24 until it is released on DVD.
Andrea 21-12-2004, 01:34 PM It's the 4th one Minklemar, and yes avoid this thread like the plague.
I've been wondering whether to go onto the 24 website and see whats happening on there, but I'll only go and spoil it for myself.
Minklemar 21-12-2004, 01:38 PM In that case I will now bow gracefully out of this thread!!
Miss ils is really into this, but as she doesn't get sky at uni - I will have to tape it for her as always. I might even give it a go myself this time.
Andrea 29-01-2005, 09:07 PM Just a reminder, 24 starts tomorrow on Sky one at 9pm.
We are to be treated to two episodes, can't wait http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/166v.gif (http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb001_ZSYYYYYYAXGB)
floopy 29-01-2005, 09:28 PM I'm really going to try and watch this - saw most of the first series and loved it, but if you miss one you're knackered, and there never seem to be enough hours in the day, although I guess i could not hang about on the internet quite so much......
Just another reminder.......tonight sky one 9pm don't miss it.
Edited to add that Play.com are selling all three series of 24 on DVD for 17.99 per series.....bloody good value...just out of interest
Cheekychops 30-01-2005, 12:30 PM 24 is also on Sky Travel channel at 9 o'clock tonight if you don't have Sky One but you do have a digi box. Noticed it in Tv mag yesterday and have just checked Sky Tv website to make sure it wasn't a mistake and sure enough it's on. Yippee! Don't have Sky but have a Digi box can't wait. :)
Take Care
floopy 31-01-2005, 09:08 AM How fabulous was that???? I was totally gripped and bereft when it finished, I could have sat and watched the whole series in one hit.
Excllent telly
Bella 31-01-2005, 09:17 AM Oooh, it was good wasn't it?!! I didn't know they were showing the 2 episodes, so feeling a bit tired this morning but it was worth it! Good Old Jack, if only they had listened to him....................
Still trying to get used to all the new characters though.
Like you Floppy, I could have easily watched more! Can't wait until next Sunday - are they showing 2 episodes every week?
Cheekychops 31-01-2005, 10:02 AM Hi and Sorry. 24 was only on Sky Travel for the first two episodes last night. They not showing any more the swines. :ranting: Am absolutely raging will have to go out now and buy Sky cos am hooked already.

Andrea 31-01-2005, 11:39 AM Classic TV. So glad it's back on, I love this program.
I see Jack is still using the same old interrogation techniques ie. shoot them in the leg.
And doesn't Chloe look good, she seems to have lost alot of weight.
I thought alot of the old characters were going up in some bomb blast, that's what I thought the 8am happening was going to be. Maybe they are just not going to show them.
Well that's my Sunday nights sorted for the next six months.
Bella 03-04-2006, 10:38 AM How many nutters do CTU employ? It's crazy that you can be hauled off by the security guards for doing something that annoys the boss!
It is still gripping TV and I reckon there has to be another mole somewhere, Robocop guy, the one that double-crossed Jack was talking to a woman when he left Jack to be blown up, and then there is this new female at CTU who we haven't seen before. I wonder if she is involved.
And what has happened to McGlynn's sister and her nutty boyfriend, they still have his keycard.
And what an extremely well-armoured car the President's wife was in! :glare:
Bella 18-04-2006, 10:56 AM Poor Edgar!
Andrea 18-04-2006, 12:38 PM Oh I know
Andrea 02-05-2006, 09:51 AM Ooooooooo, what an ending on Sunday:shocking:
You just can't beat this show!:applause:

Andrea 14-05-2006, 09:01 PM Ooooooeeeeer, who'd have thought it, that little toe rag is behind it all then, eh!:shocking:
Indeed Andrea..:shocking: :shocking: and thrice:shocking:
Andrea 04-06-2006, 09:52 PM still addicted to this program and it just doesn't disappoint.
Who were those guys talking to the president?
I'm sure I've seen the main one somewhere before.
And who was on that plane?
Did you see the last limo driving away, with the British flags on, Blair must be in on it:w00t:
Actually that's got me thinking, who has been on this show, in the past series who was British?
Ooh I just can't wait a week for the next one!

Oh please miss, miss I know!!
He was in ER the horrible dr in charge of the ER Romano I think.
And yet another brilliant episode again last night, your'e right, this gets better and better and this series is one of the best yet.
Andrea 07-06-2006, 12:29 PM Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh well done Buzz, ER doctor, thats the one!
Andrea 24-06-2006, 11:45 PM For those who watch this, how many hours have we got left now?
It must be coming up to the final episodes soon.
I'm sure it started at about 8am?
It can't be that many...I have lost count. All I know is Sunday's come round quicker and quicker!
Bella 25-06-2006, 01:21 PM It's the final next week Andrea, don't know if it is a double or not but I have got my mum, my sister and my brother in law to tape it as we are on holiday!
I do love Sundays - 24 & then Lost!
Andrea 26-06-2006, 09:17 PM Yup, season finale next weekhttp://www.invision.smileyville.net/smilies/sad (7).gif
I can't wait, should be a good ending.
But then again I don't want it to finish.
What with this and then the world cup finishing the week after, there's nothing left to watch.
Andrea 01-07-2006, 09:33 PM Get in your comfy chairs, it's the last one tomorrow!
Got my chair, got my beer and got my munchies in and I am ready for tonight.
My eldest has just finished watching the 1st one on DVD and I had forgotten how good that one was too. Think I will start over again and watch them all on DVD when this series has finished.
Andrea 03-07-2006, 11:23 AM Woooooooooooooooooooooooooow!
Fantastic viewing as always but what on earth comes next.
i've heard they are going to be doing another 3 series and a movie as well.
Can't wait. My Sunday nights are just not going to be the same now!
