View Full Version : Shameless - Series 2
Just a reminder to those who enjoyed this last time (think it was just me, voice and maxine!) that the new series starts tonight on Channel 4 at 10pm.
I'd recommend it - the first series was hilarious!
Andrea 04-01-2005, 10:24 PM I saw this in the tv page and then totally forgot about it.
Was it good Peej?
maxine 05-01-2005, 08:54 AM Thanks Peej. I set the tape up cos it's on past my bedtime.
Voice of reason 21-01-2005, 04:38 PM Still watching peej! It's brilliant.
maxine 21-01-2005, 04:48 PM Nice to see you Voice!
I've recorded the first 3 but haven't got round to watching them yet. Once BB is out of the way, I'll be able to get myself up to date.

I'm sure you'll love them Max, the second series is every bit as well written as the first and just as funny! I decided to avoid BB this time so have managed to see all of the current series so far.
Voice of reason 26-01-2005, 04:17 PM Excellent drama in last night's episode, I was literally on the edge of my seat!
Last night episode was excellent!
Anyone see the scene at the very end after the credits stopped rolling with carol after she returned home from her cruise. Her wee dog ran across the road to greet her and got ran over by a taxi. It then cut to carols blood-splattered face and then to the Tourette's suffering son with an evil glint in his eye!
I must say, I can't beleive more people don't watch this...
Adzam 26-01-2005, 08:28 PM I watch it! Oh No! I loved that Dog! It was great last night, I really do love this, Channel 4 is great right now!
Last night's episode was another cracker.
I thought the girl's acting, who plays Fiona, was particularly excellent.
When does this series end - must be soon. I hope there's a 3rd series on the way!
maxine 16-02-2005, 05:31 PM I still haven't watched any of the series but have got it all on tape.
Voice of reason 16-02-2005, 05:33 PM Yes, it was brilliant PJ, Anne-Marie Duff her name is and she was also in 'The Magdalen Sisters'
There's not a single character that I dislike, they are all brilliantly acted but I have a soft spot for Sheila, she's just a looper!
Last night's was 7 of 10, so there's three more to go PJ :)

Barking, isn't she?
I like Marty. I know it's not normally something to be laughed at but he is so good at portraying a Tourette's sufferer - he has me in stitches!
Frank's hilarious as well!
Minklemar 23-02-2005, 12:38 PM Last night's episode was great! I've only started watching Shameless recently and I'm not sure how everyone is related to who.
Is Veronica next door related to Fiona or are they just friends?
I take it that all the kids that live with Fiona are Franks?
How does Marty fit in?

It's great isn't it Minks!?
1)Yep, Veronica lives next door with Kev (the barman from the pub)
2)All the other kids are Franks, his wife ran off with another woman and Fiona has been bringing them up ever since. (Except that one of the lads found out last week he wasn't Frank's)
3) Marty is Veronica's brother, he and his Mum Carol live with Fiona in the house she used to share with her ex Steve. The other kids live on the other side!

Thanks Voice!
Are the twins by Sheila Franks too?
Voice of reason 23-02-2005, 01:57 PM Yep, the twins - Nigel and Delia (Shelia has a thing about TV chefs!) belong to Frank and Shelia
Where was Sheila last night??? And Frank was in it for about 2 mins!
Focused too much on that new **** Fiona is seeing.
Still, another hilarious episode. Thought I was going to crack a rib when Marty shouted "Cunnilingus" when he was in bed with that woman
Voice of reason 02-03-2005, 06:49 PM Yeah I was a bit disappointed with last night's episode, until Marty cremated the hearse that is! Classic TV moment, Marty is such a great character
