I have very mixed feelings about this man now, I used to really enjoy him before.....

I really don't know what to think so I'm not saying anything for now.

Was he crying during his entrance?? He clearly thinks all is forgotten and he will come out of this as the star he once was!

Just should have walked in there.
I think he thinks he's already made his comeback just from that entrance.

I also don't know what to think about him.
Was reading an article about him yesterday saying that the press manipulated alot of things about him, the trial, etc. But again that was only one report.

I was also amazed at how the crowd lapped him up too ... they were estatic!

Agree with all comments but I like the bloke.

Don't know truly what has gone on in his private life & don't want to, not my business.

I speak as I find & will decide what I think about him in how he behaves on the show.

I've never been a Barrymore fan - even at the peak of his fame I found him irritating. I thought his pre-show video was totally unfunny and it's sad to think that he thinks the audience cheering was specifically for him when it's just a crowd of people cheering because that's what they do. However, I'm reserving judgement on him for now.

Just how much did they pay that crowd to cheer him into the house? I doubt VERY much that their reaction mirrors that of the general public.

And as catswhiskas says (good to see you back btw), his pre-show VT was almosts as toe curling as his entrance (no pun intended

I had mixed emotions about seeing Barrymore going in, he had tears in his eyes and just for a split second i did kinda feel sorry for the guy, but then i thought what about the father of the man who died in Barrymores pool, how must he be feeling, No there was absolutely no excuse for how Barrymore handled the whole sordid thing, and then to run away and move abroad, what a coward.
