The Official Unofficial - Marooned! 'Helang Diarist'
by Hmmm - 'One who was there.'

Day 2: Last night they sat round the camp fire (except Andy who said he preferred to stand on a log) and introduced themselves to each other.

First up was Charlotte who told us she was a slapper from South Wales. We, at first, thought she was a bit hard on herself but after listening to her whiny voice for 5 minutes we all wanted to slap her. Andy said he wanted to frighten everyone - he keeps saying this and it is beginning to pall. Everyone respects him though. Adrian was asleep. JJ was very upfront (have i mentioned she's a big girl?) she said 'If I see something wrong, I say wallop' or something like that. Any girl who can move Vulcans by hand has my vote. Simon looked very uncomfortable sat on the log, he had a pained expression on his face all evening. He told us his survival depended on exlax. Jayne didn't say much she was sat cross legged humming, I thought she floated off the ground at one point - must have been a trick of the light. Uzma told us she was looking for a man - which explained her quest for kerolene earlier. James didn't say much, just glared at everyone. I noticed he's started painting his face which I thought was nice.

This morning Adrian phoned his mum and asked what was for breakfast. Andy got down from the log after 22 and 1/2 hours (I don't think it will be long enough to frighten anyone). Actually, no-one slept very well, we were kept awake by Uzma talking in her sleep 'Kerolene, kerolene' Drove me mad. Simon went down the end of the beach, came back looking more depressed. Still, the sun is shining all is well. At least, all was well until JJ found a pig's head on a stick in the woods. James denied everything, but he looked shifty to me. Charlotte looked nice today in her bikini - shame about the spots.

I was right, food is going to be a problem.
