Sarah was born in Winchester. Sarah is good at working in a team but sometimes requires direction. She is adventurous, very fit physically and enjoys swimming, biking and running. She is a bit quieter than some of the other contestants and tends to get emotional when tired.

In 1999 Sara was in the same team as Sir Ranulph when they took part in the gruelling Eco-Challenge race across Patagonia.
